My NEW MAIN For MULTIVERSUS SEASON 2 

I never thought I’d see a video like this. You’ve struck me as a person who doesn’t have a main at all.

I prefer the rushdown meta, it’s not fun to play against campers that spam projectiles or people who constantly run. That’s why most people play Finn, Shaggy and WW. All of them are fast, good counter-play against campers and runners. Shaggy could charge so people have to push/do something, Finn can use his gem and speed boots to chase in addition he has a dash that destroys projectiles, Wonderwoman has the shield to protect herself from projectiles

I feel like as a content creator who talks a lot about game balance like how you do it’s hard to have a main because you need a good understanding of how the characters work against one another and not just ones main (Finn for this example) but if you’re happy then I’m happy. Also love the content

(garnet main)Yeah fin is easy to pickup but I never felt like I was cheesed by him at high levels like I do with Harley and felt more like it had to do more with me not using moves to help counter him at all and it's obvious when I fight someone who isn't good with him when I'm leveling up other characters fighting lower skilled finns. He definitely is scary when you use him fully and isn't a bad pick at all or a "wow of course you picked Finn no wonder I lost" character.

as a finn main his side special is a great combo starter it lead into down air at low percents and consistantly combos wuth forward air

My main went from Iron Giant to Bugs Bunny. A very random almost sensesless switch, but my friend played Finn so I had to play the one character that is as good as him to make the perfect scumbag duos.

tip: if you use backpack just for damage, try to drop it after the first two hits since hitting it all will result in major coin loss

U said finn doesn't have bad matchups and I disagree heavily these are his worst matchups Harley(her boxes and passive gameplay are bad for finn) Reindog(his dummy thicc hitbox hits u from arkansas) Jake(his distant attacks are bad for finn) Rick(his worst matchup no explanation) Lebron(his basketballs make it hard to approach without gem) Bugs(not a super bad matchup but its harder to win bugs can play really passive) Taz(his whole kit is anti approach) I wanna see you do a video on his worst matchups and see what u think

Finn down attack on the ground has armor break slush!!!

As a Finn you are fast enough to break Superman armor and attack before he can get an attack off if times right. Especially for the down smash. Kick and light attack usually does the trick(spam) or light then kick afterwards since kick rolls off his combos smoother and fastest in my opinion.

As a Finn main, welcome to the struggle @slush. It ain’t easy ranking up an F tier character but it’s honest work. I managed to get my Finn up to #1,800 overall despite the swamp of meta characters at the top.

I think Martin the martian is going to be a mage h fit in the role pretty well since is very small you should try to use Every mage since you already used 2/3 it would be cool to a video for the perks of every mage

I’d say lebron and Morty probably have the highest skill ceiling for 1s. Finn is def up there tho. I’d say 3rd or 4th highest. Bc Steven is probably up there. A rly good finn is ridiculous!

How you feel about Finn is how I feel about....TAZ! Yessir. I wanna be one of the best Taz mains in Multiversus. Mainly because of how slept on he is, how VERY LITTLE OF TAZ we see and how he's ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD once you learn him. I get it. His Dodge? SUCKS. ASS. but you put the right utility perks on. It's really hard to decide just on character as a main, all characters are good in their own way, I have 19/22 characters on lvl 15 or more, (highest wonder woman and morty, lvl 21) so yeah I know almost all of them pretty well, If I had to choose one class, I would choose mages. (morty is my favorite)

While I agree that Finn has a high skill ceiling, the character is designed in a way where you don’t need to work towards it. Having a character who can move while charging his smash attacks is a handed mechanic, along side a lot of his moves being over tuned. His kit flows so well together that is some instances, it doesn’t make sense for the flow of the moves or for the hit boxes/hit stun to work how they do. I agree that Finn is phenomenal character with a lot of depth. But that depth gets lost when it’s just more consistent to use to same combos and kill set ups. I feel the game needs to encourage more diverse play styles among character, so that you can see more personality from the players. In my opinion, this game needs sour and sweet spots and a lot more attacks, so that game feels more fluid and has more logic behind it. I hope you decide to opt for the more difficult route, and design your own play style of Finn. That is what plateform fighters is about, the freedom of expression each player can put into their characters. I can’t wait to see how your Finn comes out, I have high hopes for you my man! Keep up the good work❤

yea Finn is actually a harder character for me, I find Steven easier lol (I'm a Steven main so like it make sense but Finn is my second most played character) , I mostly just have trouble killing with finn, his combo are very fun tho

I'm a main jake and I won't change my main, he's fun, he has an amazing kit and he's versatile for all kind of situations. I was a jake main on brawlhalla too.

tbh, however weird Rick may be, he will always be the most fun character.

I used to main Reindog, but the bug made him unplayable. I decided to go with Black Adam but I am having trouble with the character. It gonna be super hard but I will eventually master the character.

my top 3 highest skill ceiling characters (my opinion) #3 Finn finn has a pretty basic set and is probablly the 2nd easiest character to pick up, but with all his mobility and items there's alot to learn #2 Morty he has alot of projectiles and is confusing to pick up but once you understand his gameplay he's an abomination (He's not #1 because he has alot of sleeper moves) #1 T&J sure im a bit biased but i honestly think T&J has the highest skill ceiling in this game, when you pick him up he's garbage and his playstyle assures that you have to put in alot of effort to advance as him, he is absolute bin at low levels which means few will ever get to the good stage, but once you get there its like heaven.

I do think you’re exaggerating the whole superman thing. Like he’s not even top tier, and has some of the smallest hitboxes there are while having the biggest hurtboxes, besides, his moves are super laggy, and if a superman gets a hard read on you or hits every single one of his hits then he deserves the win. I mean, Finn has a lot of ways to fight superman, and the fact that he can charge attacks while moving gives him the edge against any armour superman has just because you move away from him because you simply don’t have to commit to any attack, so why even try to attack his armour when you can just wait it out? And let’s not talk about any of the broken stuff Finn does, because it’s honestly absurd, and if you’re good enough, you will kill the Iron Giant even before he gets to 100. But anyway, great video

I feel finns a good and respectable choice as a main these days. I main WW for a lot of the same reasons, Low skill floor but quite high ceilings and theyre both very fast which is always a fun advantage to have.
