There is a house that looks identical to this is Port Carling in Muskoka where I live not on a lake that is asking $5M. But I think his house lacks a lot of built ins and natural stone so think his would be a little less.

Congratulations! Very difficult to quote a comparable house in Newton, MA without at least knowing your lot size, square feet of house and bedroom and bathroom count. That said, empty small (0.25 acre) lots, if there were any, would run roughly $750k. I’ll guess your house is 4500 sq feet, new construction, which would run at least $3,500,000 here, probably more.

I live in Canada, in the suburbs, a city called Richmond Hill near Toronto, Ontario. Assuming house is ~5000 sqft and lot size is ~10000 sqft the approximate costs to build a home here would be: Land: 2 to 2.5 mil CAD (1.6 to 2 mil USD) House: ~1.5 mil CAD (1.2 mil USD) And then market value would sell for around 4 to 4.5 mil CAD at this time (3.2 to 3.6 mil USD)

Hey Jer, I’m from Barrie, Ontario, Canada I would guess 4 million here. If I could give a friendly suggestion on decor, add some greenery! I love the style whites/grays it’s very trendy and beautiful but it’s lacking that really inviting warmth and if you add some plants on the kitchen counter/island area… and some floor plants it would really warm it up. It’s beautiful tho, and just a friendly suggestion :)

Honestly most of the interior stuff (doors, tiles, cabinets) in this house are cheap and directly from Home Depot. I mean it’s a huge house and probably bigger than some of the expensive houses in SF but it’s the build quality is not at the same level.

Hi Jeremy, Great video! Thank you so much for sharing this cool home tour. Your house turned out very nice. I like the color scheme. I really like the white chairs. The dark couch is another story. I think I would like it much better if it had a bit of a more higher back rest. That would definitely make it more comfortable. That is just my opinion though. To each their own. I am just agreeing with you on what you said about the comfort factor. Please don't take that the wrong way I am not hating at all. I really like the chandelier to. It really looks great. Over all everything looks great. You did good man! You have a beautiful family. Congrats to you. I am proud of you. You deserve it for all of the hard work and effort you put in to your great content. The fact that you live next door to the "G" man is even another great bonus.
