I get my Osmo pocket 3 today. I’m so excited it seems like the perfect mix between a high quality point and shoot and a GoPro. I love vlogging on GoPro but the low light performance bothers me. I do love how I don’t really worry about breaking my GoPro. I bought the 2 year protection plan for my osmo

Great review Darren, well done. The Leeds video was very good and it was raining as well. The gimbal provides excellent stability and the tracking is really professional. It looks great value for money. The microphone is really well thought out too. All the best!!

Ordered one of these a few weeks ago to replace my GoPro's. Can't wait for it to be delivered. The low light issues are a pain for me especially when my videos are mostly filmed in the dark! 🤦🏼‍♂️🤣

Thank you Darren for the review of the DJI pocket 3. I will be looking at to buy in the 2024. I have issues with my Pocket 2 a few times. Twice the same fault with the gimbal.

I would love one but they are so expensive, also the main problem I have is that you can’t take them on coasters that allow on ride filming so I would still have to use my GoPro ! The picture and sound quality is unbelievable on the Pocket 3 but I just can’t justify buying one for the usability of it for what I need also not having it waterproof is an issue, which is something they will hopefully change with the Pocket 4

I think it's at least splash proof, I see people using it in the rain 🌧️ with no issues but surely no warranty if damaged.

I bought the dji osmo action 4 a few weeks ago i love it but i struggle in low light😢 i don't know what settings to you , i think i might buy the pocket 3 for low light content

New sub here. I was that gopro fanboy, that was until the dji osmo action 4 came out for my action camera. But for vlogging the pocket 3 blows gopro out of the water. Ive used it walking around the local park and even stuck on a tripod for talking head vlogs no more GoPro’s for me

I hope there will come a theater proof/water prof case for the camera ... I love it and have been using it even when it is -10 C or less ... and even when it was a little snow in the air. But would love to use it when there is more snow or rain.

Wicked review. Will have to save hard to afford this camera. Been using gopro for 5 years, its performance with lowlight is very poor! As for being waterproof, I tried to use my first gopro underwater and it let the water in and was ruined. My secound just gave up for no apparent reason, I'm ready for the change!

I’ve got one of these and I think it is pretty good, but the joystick control isn’t exactly smooth. Can this be corrected? Talking of the mic; you have to remember to switch the damn thing on! Very easy to forget, as I found out! 😖

Yeah you can turn down the sensitivity I think. Try the app

Been thinking of upgrading my camcorder as I use a Canon Legria hf r806 (It's a camcorder), I know one of my friends have one as well but impressed with it being honest. Nice video. (Edit) Just brought one as well :D

A couple of years ago I sold my Canon G7X ii to ‘upgrade’ to the ZV-1 and regretted it within a week, what a terrible camera it is, I put up with it for a bit but ended up selling it and not only lost £300 when I sold my g7x but I lost another £300 when I sold the ZV-1. Should’ve stayed with the old faithful, bit outdated now though so looking at getting the osmo pocket 3!
