Just watched the last episode of corner gas. Can’t believe how bad I feel. Been watching every day for a few months and now? At least I still have animated but still.....the movie was great. Thank you Amazon/imbd. Brent Butt is clearly a Canadian national treasure. Hope you come to NYC eventually. Thanks for the laughs and comforts.

My husband and I found Corner Gas the first of 2018 and have watched it through twice now. We love it! Funny.. watching your office tour and you show the Thin Man DVD’s cracked me up because it is also our favorite series of shows. Our son in law says we keep the old black and white shows in business. One more thing we recently found out that you and Nancy are married! You two make a great couple. 😎
My kids are writing Corner Gas comics! They are 8 and 6. We watch Corner Gas together. I just tell them we don't say Jackass! Lol. They comics are probably a few pages long. I have to fold several 8.5 x 11 and staple them. Brent rocks!

Just finished Corner Gas series and the movie the other day. My only regret is I wasn't introduced to the show sooner! Thanks for the laughs! P.S. My Aunt and Uncle who recommended the show to me are also big fans of The Thin Man series!

Greetings and salutations from Chicagoland U.S.A. I just recently started watching Corner Gas the regular and animated versions on IMDB. I must say, I really enjoy ALL of the episodes. Although, I have yet to see the movie. You're a very funny guy Brent...keep up the great work.
Flashbacks to my own youth which coincides with yours since you're only 2 years older than I am so the 60's-70's and prior era stuff is very familiar. I also enjoyed The Dick Van Dyke show. Carl Reiner a true comic genius. Not unlike yourself. Also love the retro/modern Atari game pad system. I had one of the original Atari home systems once. Plus the old push button phone, though a rotary would really be nice. P.S. I too have the original Corner Gas Box set and have No Clue on DVD it and the original Corner Gas/Movie are available on DVD via Amazon. Awesome clip as they all are and look forward to the next one. Oliver should get a treat too.

Fantastic tour. So well organized. I love that you put all of your sentimental items in there. Those keepsakes that we treasure are the fuel behind our creativity I believe. I find that being able to reminisce upon my past accomplishments and beloved family and friends, makes me a better artist. Your office really showcases your genius talent for comedy and producing as well as your love for animation. Super job Brent.
This last summer, I drove from Michigan to the town where corner gas was shot. Unfortunately the the ruby and gas station were no longer there. However, the town was really cool although the place looked a lot smaller than it did on t.v.👍👍
I dont know what we have to do to get Brent on the Joe Rogan Experience, but there needs to be an attempt made to make that happen. Now that we've seen Brent's prop bong and cas rug, I think we've seen enough to know what a great interview that would be. Next time Brent is going to be on the US West Coast, make sure Twitter lets Joe know!
Loved the office tour, except I would have loved to see what your window view is as well. By the way, Oliver gave you the look as if he was saying “why do you torment me on your videos? “ lol. Your drawing table is awesome and I love the Bluetooth keyboard. Mannix was played by Mike Connors - excellent show back in the day.

I love the wood with the inlaid metal strips - a very clean look. The inlaid metal and the cabinetry are very nicely done. I am really impressed with the space - quality.
"Streets of Fire", what a great movie! When I worked for Curtis Mathes Television it was the very first movie(VHS of course) in our movie club that was true Dolby Stereo. Great sound track!
Hi Brent. I hope you read this. I doubt you will, but let's hope. So, I'm a nurse in California in a really small rural town. Here I am, in one of my shifts and a patient calls. I walk into his room and he has his laptop open and I hear the theme from Corner Gas. I was like "You are watching Corner Gas?!" like I had found a long lost twin. And he was like, "Yes." And I was like "I love that show!" and he was like, "Yes, it's adorable. Empty my urinal, please." Anyways, he was sick so not as excited as me about your show. But I just thought I should share that people in nowhere California watches your show!
That's how I break down a script. 4 rows: Act 1, Act 2a, Act 2b, Act 3 . Each card represents a 5 minute chunk of story. Maybe I'll do a video about my writing method at some point. Yeah...?

I loved how you wrote Crystal's scenes when she was pregnant, awesome how you avoided the obvious but also made it fell like a lie if you questioned if she was pregnant or not by both the audience and charters. Something tv writers encounter and deal with differently, that the genius I love to explore.

I love your retro decorating theme! One of the reasons I love The Incredibles is that they use that same design aesthetic. They are currently in the process of demolishing my old high school, and just the other day I stopped and grabbed a couple of bricks. I also managed to nab one of the classroom clocks, but that's a story for another day.

Just wondering. I know the town of Rouleau was the set of Dog River and Tisdale was the inspiration, but what was the inspiration for the town of Wullerton ?
My notion was that every town (or city) seems to have some "rival" that they hate, even if they have no particular logical reason for that hate. For Tisdale it was Melfort. For Calgary it's Edmonton. For London it's Paris. Always struck me as goofy and funny and sort of universal.

Oooh! a Real Canadian Rules Football football! I love all kinds of gridiron football - but 3 downs best of all! It's how a nation of hockey lovers play football - fast, flowing, furious, with few timeouts! (I'd use even more 'F' words but I'm staying Family Friendly here!) And Hiccups!
