I am a parent of a teen who identifies as pan sexual. She was scared to come to me. However, I love her and she is & will always be my daughter. At 1st, she had a girlfriend. And now, she is dating a guy. I told her you can't help who you love. Be proud of who you are, enjoy life, and be happy, Most of all, be true to yourself and to not be forced to live up to the expectations of others, or society. I advised her to surround herself with people who loving, accepting, and who are real.....☺️💐💞🌸🌺

I love these. I would love to hear my sons story from his mouth. He was ‘busted’ out I found his tumblr where he confessed but he cried and locked himself in the room the poor kid. He was only 14/15 years old. He knew I’ve always be aLGBTI advocate but I guess it wasn’t on his terms. But I think it helped him in the long run know that nothing changes. Now he has absolutely no shame which just warms my heart. He has mates that have to hide their homosexuality.

Bawling like a baby!! Sheesh!! I’m a mama. We do our best. My daughter called me and I could tell that she had fear in her voice and she said that she had something important to tell me. I was pulling out of the mall and it was dark out. I told her that I would call her back and those 30 seconds that she had to wait and wonder and worry, were painful to me because I knew that she was in pain about something. I called her back and she told me that she was bisexual and I told her that everything was going to be ok and that I was so sorry that she had to wait to tell me. I was just so afraid of crashing!

The part about coming out being an infinite process is so true... I wish it wasn't. Such an emotional video!

This is what is heartbreaking to me personally- watching a 10 minute video of 2 women talking about being "gay," being "queer", coming out, their girlfriends, etc. ; and not once was the word LESBIAN used. It's our word, our beautiful, hard won, meaningful (female homosexual) word. Please don't contribute to lesbian erasure. Yes, use all the words, but please don't leave Lesbian out.

I’m religious and everyone assumes I’m against lgbtq+ but in reality my only friend that doesn’t identify within the lgbtq+ community is my ex boyfriend. I believe we shouldn’t love nor judge people based on who they love. We should love and judge people based on what they actually do with their lives.

It’s only wrong with religion. Religion is the cause of so much war and hate. I truly despise religion. I'm Straight, but I don't care what someone else is as long as they are authentic. I think some who say they are Gay...or any other identity are just doing it to be...cool or IN some way. that probably sounds silly, but I often think that people just want to be different and that's their way of doing it. to me Bruce Jenner is one of those people. Caitlyn is just not natural. I think I can kind of tell when someone is naturally LgBTq...however they identify...it's just natural and seems right. I know people sometimes have to make the shift from who they were pretending to be before coming out to who they truly are,, but after awhile it should be possible to carry on normally in their identity. That's just my opinion of course.

One question, why does the girl in the overalls not identify as a gender neutral or a non binary person? it would make sense if they did. Obviously it wouldn't change her gender, just how she demands people to refer to her but my point is this, why does she express herself so ambiguously and yet not claim to be non binary? Im looking at this from a Woke perspective not my own. She is content with who she is and expresses herself as she feels comfortable yet doesn't feel the need to force others to act like shes not a woman. This is a good thing. Its what i and so many others want. You dont have to identify as a made up gender to feel whole or express yourself. Be like this person. Know who are let others know. You don't have to alter your gender to do so.
