Wow! You are so smart! Following your gut (no pun intended) and doing the research! Brilliant! I hope your children grow up with those abilities: they are invaluable. I’m along to support you on your new journey!

Wow, I have never dealt with infertility but hearing your story was so inspirational. Your drive to not give up and stay hopeful that you would find out what was wrong and learn to cope. So happy to hear you were able to become a mom because I know as a mother of 3, it’s the best feeling in the world. Thanks for sharing your story with lots of great information to help other women.

I am so excited for this new journey of your channel! As someone with PCOS getting told you need to lose weight or that birth control is the only treatment can be SO frustrating!! And the cravings!! Omg my hubs used to make fun of me cause I would tell him I NEEDED sugar in the evenings cause I literally would feel sick with out it.

It honestly feels like a huge weight lifted off my chest! I felt like a huge failure cause I could never stick to a diet or lose any weight. It makes me feel so much better than there’s a reason behind the way I was feeling and it’s not just a lack of willpower

Finally watching ❤️ So so so excited for your upcoming videos!! Like I told you, I’ve been dealing with pcos for around 8 years now and the only things I was always told was to keep a low weight and take the pill 😩 My doctor here in the UK also said the same thing 😑 But at least he prescribed merformin to help me for a while, since the pill was only making it all worse for me to lose weight. I hate how doctors usually don’t take more than a couple of minutes to investigate deeper 😔😔 Anyways lol Such a (fortunate!!!!❤️) coincidence that at the same time I decided to finally make hardcore changes on my diet and lifestyle you started posting pcos content here and on instagram and have inspired me sooo much ❤️

Very interesting and brave to share your journey. I don’t have pcos, my cycle is like clockwork, but I am type 2 diabetic so I struggle with insulin resistance as well. I know from experience how hard it is to ignore cravings, and I am also often hungry even after eating less than an hour ago. So frustrating for weight loss!

So many similarities between diabetics and PCOSers! We should really be eating a similar diet! Stay strong we can do it!

I’m in the same boat as you. I’m trying for baby no. 2 and found out along the way that I have pcos . My doctor and specialist did the worst job of explaining things to me! Thankgod for RU-vid.

My habits that have been most beneficial is a combination of daily exercise, vegetarian diet with lots of fresh veggies and fruit, beans and nuts, journaling at night, daily meditation, family meals, and finding daily motivation.

It says a lot that you are a nurse but hadn't even heard of pcos Metformin worked really well for me, that along with a low effort easy diet change given to me by Dr, I was able to loose 85lbs in 6 months and started having 28-30 day cycles. I also got laser hair removal on my face & chest. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay on metformin long term but the diet alone is helping still. Not fully regular and have put back on a lot of the weight but my bloods are all in the normal range. If I could keep my weight steady I'd be happy at this stage.

Not really-I work in an adult ICU and PCOS is the farthest thing from what I need to focus on to save my patient’s lives. Also I never learned any women’s health beyond OB in nursing school so just because someone is in healthcare doesn’t mean they know about every single disease or condition.

Sister, I have PCO and I took letrozole thrice and I didn’t get pregnant yet.. I feel really devastated. I am hopeless. 😞. I do get my periods regularly and my eggs are in proper size when I take letrozole and after that I did take trigger for ovulation but I didn’t get pregnant 😭😭😭😭

One more question and thank you so much for replying. Did you have polycystic ovaries? I know some women that have PCOS don’t.
