Thank you for being pro pad! I can’t use tampons and used to get made fun of by my “friends” for wearing pads. It never bothered me until people called me gross for using them. I’ve never been able to use tampons and every period video I watch people kind of act like pads are just so gross they couldn’t fathom using them. I loved this!
Funny how you posted this on my period. 😂 I've been using pads ever since my period started, I'm comfortable with it. I'm just too afraid to use tampons and menstrual cups. God blessed me for not letting me experience painful cramps, hopefully I won't get to experience those in the future. Also, I've been wanting to get leakproof underwear/period underwear but I can't find them anywhere from where I live. I also would love to have that face mask, I just feel like it'll help me with my sleep.
hahah me too actually! 😂 If you're able to buy them online, I definitely recommend it although I'm not super sure where exactly they ship! Hopefully you're able to try some soon 🥰
I know I already said this, but girl- YOU ARE GLOWING!!! ✨✨✨✨✨ I love this video. Not everyone is open in sharing this kind of content. Very informative 😻
i loved this video! Ive grown up with periods being such a taboo topic, now i feel so much more casual about the topic and videos like this really helped to normalize it for me and many other girs im sure
I'm one of those people that have fallen in love with the menstrual cup. I prefer a menstrual cup because it doesn't have any chemicals, and it is friendly for the environment :)
Absolutely! It's such a great option and I'm glad they are becoming more popular, and that people are sharing their experiences because they can be super daunting at first. 🙈
The fact that I could sleep worry-free about staining my bed is one of the best things about menstrual cup. Apart from being able to sleep naked *coughcough
I bought a giant bag of loose raspberry leaf and it lasted absolutely forever. Its a go to for me now. I actually bought the incontinence underwear since it was $11, and its my first that doesnt leak. I love it, essential for my iud period.
I can’t believe I’ve never heard of period underwear! I’m going for the copper iud next week and I can’t remember what it’s like to have a period honestly they was so light 4 days maybe before I had my kids! I had an iud after my 7 year old, got one period before I was pregnant with my now 3 year old and got an iud after him. I’m going to the copper iud to get rid of my hormonal one so I’m like full on preparing for my periods now. This was so helpful!!
I've switched to a menstrual disc and never going back. It's super convenient, only needs to be taken out every 12 hours and has been leakfree for me. Bonus: It's suctionfree. Period underwear seems too expensive to me.
Hi Mikayla I love watching your videos, thank you for sharing your experience. I would really love to use a menstrual cup but I am kinda scared🙄 really looking forward to that video💞
Hey I just found your channel and I love it!! We are super similar and I find you juts super entertaining to watch like I’m taking to a friend lol. Also just a tip I too have sensitive, acne prone, dry skin and recently I cut out all fragrance and essential oils out of my skin care and it is helped me immensely. You should give it a try!
Wow! I actually learned so much from this video. I had never even heard of period underwear before. Thank you so much for sharing your experience I will definitely be trying out some of these things... although I am a little scared to try menstrual cups even though I know they are better for the environment.
AH they are incredible!! It took me awhile to try them too but I'm never going back 🙌🏻 Same with the cup, it definitely took a lot of pep talks and convincing myself to try it. Once you use it a few times though it gets so much easier!
Love love love your lipstick! Can you please share the details? Also, thank you for sharing your honest review on period undies. I’ve been shopping for a good pair.
You are so nice to everybody in the comments I love you mikayla I wish I could be you in my lifetime you make me so happy that I watched your channel I love it you are my first youtuber obsession keep on Youtubing girl
Thank you so much for your extremely helpful videos! I have Mirena and have had my second one for two years. My Mom said months ago that I should get a period cup and my friend was just talking about hers, her experience, and that I should get one. Ended up getting one and looking forward to using it when the time comes. I wasn't for sure if I would find a video with someone who has an iud and uses a cup. I am glad that I found you. Take care!
Totally TMI and you don’t have to answer, but as someone who wants to get the IUD, can you feel the strings? Totally curious how it effects sex, periods, etc. that’s how I stumbled onto this video!
