Hello Daniel, I am sad you decided to leave RU-vid. Slice of Ace was one of the first aspec-channels I found, when I first found out about being ace and I enjoyed your content since then. But alas I understand your decision, I am sure filming and editing videos takes a lot of time. Maybe you will still upload a video once a while, that would be nice, but don't pressure yourself.

I appreciate everything you have done and all you said in this video - it is ok to want something new and honestly, some channels should have an end point, just like for example, some tv-shows have an end as well. I kind of look on youtube as a free-tv platform where you can make your own series and programs with complete freedom. In that sense, I am happy for you that you feel like you have accomplished (or will soon accomplish) what you've set out to do in the first place. If this feels like a natural end, then best not to drag it on past a point where it's becoming a burden for you. Of course, that also does not mean you may not decide to create some new channel or series in the future, if you want to or get some great idea you wish to pursue. Thank you for all you've done, at least you get to end your channel on a positive note. Making videos can be a difficult thing to manage and the importance of work life balance is important. While it's sad to see you wrap up the channel we can at least be glad that it's there.

Very understandable, working full time does and then coming home to edit for another few hours does take up lots of time and your outside life is what you should put first. I also agree that there are many more voices now especially with TikTok and it is always good to have a goal and when you reach it, it totally okay to stop or slow down. Also maybe to add to the educational series if you want is ceterosexual or romantic. All the best!
I have said this before on your Twitter, and I will say it again here. Sometimes, it's best to end a good thing when we want more of it than to keep it going when we've had enough. If your channel has inspired one person to live in their truth as a proud ace/aro, then I say, "Job well done."
Stuff like what you described is exactly why I don’t do RU-vid or any other social media even though I have things on my mind that I would like to share sometimes. It takes up a lot of time and there is a lot of pressure put on you because of how negative the Internet can be, and usually is. it is OK to step away from it and take a breath in the fresh air that is actually in front of you. Don’t feel bad about choosing to no longer do this and enjoy your life. If anything, it is better for your mental health and you are likely to improve your well-being through choosing to take that action with this.
Thanks for all your time and energy you've put into this channel. It's helped me a lot with my own journey. But your own happiness and health is more important than random people on the internet! So I hope you really get to dive into some hobbies and adventures you didn't feel you had the time for!

I can't say I won't miss your channel since you're a friendly presence I'm used to, and I really enjoyed your videos, but I'm glad you know how to stop so that it doesn't become a burden on you. I've been wanting to do my own channel but it comes down to the exact same issue. *Time* I would love to do it. But I just don't have the time to. I'm too tired from working all week so I rest on weekends. And what I have to do I do on weekends when I don't work.
Me: just discover this channel. Also me: it's closing? Oh, noooo. It's the second time in last 3 days I've discovered a channel that's closing down. Also me: creator's life outside the internet is important too. And there are many videos, so... All the best to you and your partner.
