MY PSORIASIS STORY | Psoriasis Treatment, Psoriasis Diet, Positive Affirmations - Guttate Psoriasis 

I had psoriasis for 8 years now, just wanted to say please be careful with steroid creams it can be tricky. I have used steroid creams at the start and it would make it go away completely but then a week or two later it would come back twice stronger in bigger. It felt like i was feeding the psoriasis. But then everyone's skin is different so might work for some people. Thank you for the video, I think eliminating stress is the hardest but most effective treatment for this x

I too had Guttate Psoriasis, for more 10yrs, & found out recently that I have Psoriatic Arthritis because of Psoriasis & had a Total Right Knee 🦵 Replacement about 3 X Weeks ago, very Painful 🥺 😱 but truly worth it! Have extreme Pain or Not? More Pain, more Stress, more Psoriasis - - No. Fix & replace knees. Guttate Psoriasis looks better! Yes you are correct with the Issue of the Gut/or Stomach! So I'm going close to vegetarian lifestyle, doing Milk Kefir (very good Probiotics) and a bit of Kombucha as I do love 😍 cool drinks, alcohol is very hard to give up! Half the foods in my Fridge I have to give away, or eat them! I need a lot of Collagen and L-Glutamine and very good probiotics and have foods gluten-free that will heal leaky gut syndrome plus get off Lectins, all LECTINS most Grains cut out deadly nightshade plants! Eat mainly Vegetables! And going to use Bone Broth or in your case {Gelatine}! Body lotions I use only olive oil and coconut oils, most of it I take internally plus I take supplements: Concentrated Calcium; MSM; Magnesium; Omega 3; Dolomite; Multi-Vitamins & Black Seed Oil! Oops I use Moringa as well twice a day, everyday using capsules!! Don't scratch your Psoriasis, and don't use strong scented Purfume! And then you can Slow Down or even Heal Yourself from this type of Guttate Psoriasis! 1. There's Light Treatment, but I 2. Keep away from All Chemicals. 3. Concentrated Salt I from the Dead Sea 98% to 99% of people who go there to the Dead Sea get healed! 4. I hope your psoriasis has improved. This is the most positive video on psoriasis I've ever seen! Made me feel happy :) Seeing a naturopath helped me immensely with my psoriasis. A few weeks on her protocol (diet + herbal supplements) made a huge difference vs months on cortosteroid ointments. And totally agree on your stress comment. I wanted to cry when people told me not to get stressed -_-.

i really like your positive outlook and acceptance on psoriasis. Out of all the videos ive watched, no one has mentioned affirmations as a coping strategy. I have had psoriasis for almost 10 yrs. Today a friend told me to say positive affirmations to heal mine. I think the one I liked the most was I am living a joyful, loving life! I have guttate psoriasis as well. I got it from strep throat but my spots were a lot larger and are now clearing up after 2 years, and I'm always happy to know I'm not the only one!

Story of my life! Doctor I went to first time said I had ring worm! (needless to say I changed doctors) - UVB light worked the best for me, but it always eventually comes back. Currently waiting til May to get into a new dermatologist as I moved cities. I've also tried cutting sugar - but it made me sooo depressed :( Hope your skin treatment is going well, thanks for sharing these positive thoughts x x

I had mine since I was 5 I’m now twelve and Currently undergoing light therapy you basically get to stand in a giant sun bed! It works very well. It covered like .... 70% of my body? I found it hard to stay positive and was not nice but now (almost) gone I can’t be happier! Just remember to keep up with creams medication,injections whatever. ❤️❤️💫💫💫💫 have a nice day

I am glad you are dealing with your psoriasis so well! I have been worried about getting it my whole life. My dad got it in his 30s (he has the most common, plaque) and I have been told many studies show its genetic, but there is usually a trigger like a bee sting or even step throat that starts it. So I have just been in a waiting limbo, freaking out everytime I get a rash. He actually uses tanning beds to help control his when he gets flare ups.

I've had plaque psoriasis for a few years now, so I feel your pain! I went though the whole 'WTF?' phase too. The whole ordeal sucked a bit, but knowing is something and now you can take action. It's manageable and very common, but certainly a bit of a drag Of course everyone is different and there are so may factors to consider, but I can say for me, and you'll hate it, but cutting back sugar really helped tons. I went through sugar withdrawal and was not a fun person for a few days, but now any time I binge refined sugar now I can see the sad results in a day or two, which I hate. I've fallen in love with all types of fruit though! I've been mostly doing a paleo-diet the past two years and have had amazing results with the psoriasis control as well as other mental and physical benefits. I'm not super-strict, but the weeks I stick more with the diet the better I feel. I know it's hard to break old habits, but it does get easier if you stick with your current diet :) Sunlight is also good for the psoriasis, but you have to be careful because of that ointment its thinning side effect. It's also important to moisturize, or use the ointments, after the effected skin gets wet. Do this immediately! Also make sure to give your skin a break every 7-10 days from any of the topical treatments so it has a chance to breath. It's all really a big lifestyle balancing act, but with time, experimenting, research, and patience, you can dial in habits that will work to fight it and keep it at bay. Of course keep up the positive affirmations. They really do work wonders, and they're free! Thanks for being brave and sharing, Vickie! You're a rock star in my book!

I’m so happy you came forward and are so positive about it. I have psoriasis too (2 forms different than yours. Plaque & inverse psoriasis) 😔😔 and plan to make a video about it. 1 natural thing that helped me over the years kind of mask or tame it was essential carrier oils. Like coconut oil & Jojoba oil. I've had psoriasis like 8 to 9 years now. The whole 8 years made me think that it's dandruff. Since everyone think so. Then when I go to dermatologist, she said she's unsure of it and offer me to let her cut it a bit and send it to the lab. I asked her whether would she use anesthesia or not. and it turns out, she doesn't. I freaked out since I was just a kid. And she just gave me some gels that doesn't work at all. time passes, I try to hide it all the time. But then I came across this website and an add about psoriasis came up to me and I was like. WAIT. THIS IS WHAT IS IN MY HEAD! So, it took me 8 YEARS to only know the name.

I cleared Psoriasis naturally with diet. Its the only thing that worked for me after 20 long years of suffering.

Hey...you are doing great...i mean you are positive than the 90% people and thats so cool...wish i could do that....my psoraisis started 2 months earlier...and i too googled the hell out of it...now...i think i know how to treat it...i would really advice you to cut out the anti biotics as it destroys the good bacteria in your stomach and is only a temporary fix...i can assure you that ;) ....i am on an anti-inflammatory diet right now with probiotics food and my posraisis seems to heel...and i am taking homeopathic medicine(would advice to you too) or ayurvedic if you have a practitioner nearby :) Hope this helps🙂

Replace sugar with jaggery powder. Jaggery is the raw form of sugar obtained from sugar cane. Jaggery powder is healthy unlike sugar. You can even try palm sugar. These two things will help you give up sugar without comprising your sweet tooth.

hey there!.. I was also suffering from psoriasis..and had a tons of medicines.. Which didnt work obviously....so i tried to find the root cause... So here it is Leaky gut- seriously, a leaking stomach is the main reason... So one should try to fix these leakages by "detoxification" and also use anti-flammatory diet as u said. So to detoxify... U can prepare the juice of giloy(search it). NOTE: NEVER APPLY DIRECT ICE ONTO THE WOUND... NEVERRRR!!!

My ex-wife had similar skin condition, but it turned out to be the laundry detergent causing it. We switched to no dye and no perfume detergent and fabric softener and it cleared up pretty quickly.

My husband has it but doesn't listen to any tips ppl give him. His is on his legs and during the winter or cold fronts here in Texas they get flared.

Hi Vickie! My hubby had a lot of psoriasis and it seemed to just clear up one day when he stopped worrying about it! Don't know how that happened! Hope yours clears up as well! So hard to pin down an a reason and you have to still be able to eat etc.

Rub some of that positivity into me will ya? I think I have a VERY MILD case of guttate psoriasis as well. I got sick several months ago with sore throat and no fever. It only lasted a week but I was fine. And then a few days ago I noticed this red spot on my neck that almost looked like a blister. Then my chest started to break out in little red spots that weren’t acne. It’s only on my torso and my shoulder.Your vid has helped to clear my mind and to get through this. Right now my condition is manageable but if it becomes unmanageable it’s off to the dermatologist STAT!

My husband had psoriasis really bad for 10 years. He started to take Cosentyx from the dermatologist. It is a shot you can take at home. It cleared up in about a month completely. It's truly is a miracle.....

I have psoriasis for last nine years Breathing practices and Yoda is good for this disease. Taking olive oil daily for curing it. its really fruitful.

I just figured i have this a year ago! I waited and tried different methods to get rid of this! I have been researching and this video showed up! No matter how much i try , it does not go away so I’m gonna try to cut Sugar … can someone pls tell me if that actually helps as I’m a big sugar consumer … I am very sick and tired of it and I cried everyday because of this condition 😢

I have to use steroid cream for my eczema on my arms. The thinning skin is only really an issue with long term use.

i had psoriasis for the first time a few months ago but mind was just a little patch on my arm that i thought was poison ivey but turns out it wasn't. it was painful and itchy. not fun. you are so awesome for talking about this.

My son has it.. he lays in a tanning bed 2 days a week.. that keeps it under control

It's not uncommon, Vickie. It didn't look gross to me. Once I got a massive total body rash from an allergic reaction - It vanished within a few days though....I also clinched chronic acne at the age of nineteen. I even wrote a song about it based on the Paul Hardcastle song - Na na na na na nineteen - Na na na na na na nineteen - nineteen- LOL- Let us know how the new cream and antibiotics help. x

i have a psoriasis too, got it since i was 11 and now im 24.. it getting worse and worse every single day especially here in small town of malaysia.. the doctor dont even bother, i've to survive on my own. if u dont mind could u please share about everything that helped u lessen ur psoriasis. i've checked ur instagram and i can see u got a nice skin, the psoriasis seems gone..

You poor sick woman, I feel horrible for having you try Mexican candy. Although some of it does have sugar cane natural brown sugar, it is nevertheless sugar.
