You’re very inspiring. I started my weight loss journey/walking mid March. I have 8 children and 14 grandchildren. I’m 54 years old and my main goal was to get strong because 2 of my friends broke their ankles within weeks of each other! So I knew I needed to get strong to prevent falls and to be able to be strong for my grandkids. So I began with calorie deficit and walking and Pilates. I used to barely be able to walk a 1/2 mile. Today I walked/jogged 2 1/4 miles! It’s a small accomplishment, but I’ll take it! I’ve so far lost @ 15 lbs. and it feels good to build that endurance. I have a daughter who runs and she ran her first 1/2 marathon this last year. I decided today that I would like to work up to a 5k to run with her. (But I’ll have to wait awhile. She’s expecting her first baby in Jan!) I hope you keep sharing your story and showing before and after photos. It shows us all the possibilities that are hard to imagine when things seem to go so slowly. Thank you. 😊
