I had to watch a few vids on RU-vid as well I’m not mechanical at all but I didn’t have much of a choice so I dove in and if you take a deep breath take a good look at the mechanical operation it becomes clear how it works . I was able to drive back home just make sure you are comfortable with it all … good luck
There are some good tubers that can really help . I was able to drive my car out to my mechanic, AAA wouldn’t tow me because they said they didn’t have a truck that could take me out of the parking spot I was in , huh ? So I watched a few vids and sure enough I was able to drive it home . And I’m no mechanic that’s for sure
@@bikefive5 Yes I am safe, Thank you. I put the emergency brake on and placed a brick under each tire. In 1 hour I am calling a tow truck to junk it. It is a Ford Explorer, I believe 2003. I heard this is a common issue on Ford vehicles?

@@javzworld3739 I was thinking about what you said , you were in drive yikes ! I was I park I don’t know what I would have if I was in drive . It would have way scarry if I was in drive .
