Ruaridh McConnochie looks back at his remarkable and unconventional journey from London Scottish minis to representing England at the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
For any like minded Bath Rugby fan, seeing him take to 15s last season was almost seamless. He has blistering pace in abundance. Ruaridh seems such a down to earth, humble guy and good person to have in camp
Tim Loves Bacon hey it’s been awhile since I wrote this and since then I’ve started seeing this Irish girl who’s Anglo Saxon lol hows that for Kama. Egg on my face now. She would kill me if she knew I wrote this 🙃
Name like McConnochie, started with London Scottish, could have been contesting the Scotland-Samoa 3rd-place-in-the-group decider. Instead plays for Mickey Mouse England... Disappointed.
@Zombie Jesus Farrell's dad is born and bred Lancashire, represented GBR in League and England at League and Union, whereas McConnochie's dad is Scots and wanted him to play for Scotland.
