I actually lost my sense of smell over a decade ago, so sniffing things is pretty pointless for me. One habit I have is whenever I leave my house I double, triple, and quadruple check my pockets to make sure I have my keys, phone, and wallet. The one time I didn't check I ended up locked outside of my house.

Okay but why does hearing Wolfychu saying to someone, *"I'm gonna kill you.."* hold the same amount of chaotic energy as Kirby holding a knife?

Food is DEFINITELY a love language. If someome ever gave me food for whatever reason, I'd instantly make them a best friend (or ask them out depending on the person)

I never lock my doors 😅. I live so rural I've gone away leaving a glass sliding door completely open on for 3 days and come back and it's all good. Although I did get one intruder.....Rupert the hedgehog that loved the cat food, hung around for about a month until he moved on. Towards the end he'd even let me scratch his belly. I'd just leave the door open so he could come and go as he pleased

I can relate so much to the "fight over the bill" thing. My family(mainly my dad, sibling, and aunt) would when they have that fight, would end up splitting the bill. This happened so much to the point that my sister said she was going to the bathroom, and while she did that, also payed for the food😅. I also have some strange habits(or at least some I find strange), one being that if I dream about something, I'll end up doing it. It somehow makes me feel like I see the future because I do it eventually.

The drawings in these videos are just so expressive and entertaining. Brings the videos to another level. And I always try to grab the check if I go out to eat with my Mother.

As a Hungarian, I can relate to Emilys 3rd and 5th option. We are usually taught the same way with these habits. Always check everything (tho the reason here is the high amount of pocket thiefes, lol) and food is always a good to share with people you love. :)

I hug everyone, no matter who they are, unless we are enemies. Some people don't like hugs but I'm just compelled to hugging them and showing my affection. Like a cat when they roll in your clothing or rub themselves on you or purr. I'm like a half cat person.

The fifth one is definitely relateable to me. Pretty much everyone I know and their cousin will do that, so sometime when I was younger my parents had me distract whoever it was who ate out with us so that they would be the ones to pay for it. Honestly, it still cracks me up thinking about it

If I ever yell at Emily for sniffing her food before eating, now I know and my apologies.

I do the same thing to my apartment when I go to work. I turn off all my lights, lock the door, walk a few feet away, but then go back to see if I really did turn off all the lights and lock my door. I also press the lock button inside my car to lock the car and then after walking a few feet, I grab my key fob and press the lock button there.

My girlfriend literally told me i smell good before I’m set.

I have 2 weird habits 1:when I’m hungry I’ll look in the fridge and the 2 minutes later i look in the same place again and again for the whole day. 2: every time I go to a restaurant I order with my food 5 of each sauce and never use any if it so when I go home I put it in my fridge and leave it there for months until one day I find the sauce and throw it out

Conveniently, I also do two out of the five habits. The “Did you lock your door?” Question, and the frequent bag checks. Although, not to the extent where I wake up in the middle of the night to check my bag. As for the “Food is my love language habit”, I’ve seen my parents wanting to pay my uncle for the food (since my uncle is practically a restaurant owner), but my uncle said that it was fine and that they didn’t have to pay. 😅

As an Asian myself, I’ve also been trained in the art of fighting for the bill.

Yeeeeaaaa! My first reaction on something is like "i want to hear how it sounds". I always taps everything. ALWAYS. My friends in store usualy gives me all stuff which they want to buy and i just bring it to my ears and TAP TAP TAP TAP

I do all of those except for the drinks thing and instead of a sound to remember locking a door I will shake the hell out of it. Also this was a great video. its good to know that there are others that sniff everything

I also have some really strange habits, like putting the mouse cursor in the bottom-right corner of the screen before shutting down my PC, even though it anyways spawns in the center when the computer starts. And I also always roll up into a little ball on my chair at home instead of leaving my feet on the floor, so I unfortunately often get temporary back pain because I curl up too much. Maybe that's just because I try to save electricity, so my house is only at 18°C + whatever heat my body gives to the house. I have very bad-insulated windows (just two single-pane windows back to back, no vacuum isolation etc.), I'll probably replace the windows in the future because I could heat the house to 22°C without needing more energy, just because it doesn't leave the house as quickly.

Yes food is a love language. The way you are describing it, it is part of the gift giving/ receiving love language. It can however fall into the other love languages as well. Food is also my love language.

I always test doors right after locking them, to both mentally reassure myself that I have, in fact, locked it, double-check that it’s secure, and give myself a mental imprint that I locked the door if I question myself about it later. It’s kind of a quiet equivalent to the “Ooga booga” thing. If I’m super bored or distracted, often at work, I have a habit of either plucking out my armhairs one by one with my fingernails, or holding small sections of my long hair up to a light source, searching for the inevitable split ends, separating them out, and splitting the split ends until one side of the split comes off. I don’t even realize I’m doing this half the time, although I try to make myself stop for the sake of my hair and my arms. I don’t know where this habit of picking or splitting came from, but I’ve been doing it since middle school. This was mostly when I was in school, but I still have the compulsion on rare occasions: I preferred using wooden pencils because I could use my thumbnails to whittle them down to the granite. Literally, I would sit in class, listening to the lesson but bored, and first peel off all the paint starting at either the shaved tip or at the edge of the eraser holder, then carefully start shaving it down. My favorites were these advertisement pencils made with a particular glossy paint (usually white) that peeled off in these long strips, and the wood underneath was soft enough to just create these long curls and spirals while my thumbnail planed the pencil. I’d usually save the longest, biggest curls in my pencil case. Other pencils were a lot more chunky about it or had thicker paint; they were less fun. As soon as one side got very flat compared to the others, I’d switch to another side, and continue peeling away. Inevitably, I’d have a mess of scattered shavings and paint chips or peels under my desk by the end of the day, and we could always tell when the janitor had been by because the mess would vanish from the carpet. This was a private school that doubled as a church, so the cleaning crew didn’t always get to the middle/high school rooms. I don’t do this anymore, but the memory crosses my mind every time I see a wooden pencil.

I have this habit where when I am bored, I would repeatly walk around in circles no matter where I am. Living Room, Dining Room, Bathroom, Hallways, Malls, Restaurants, Hotels, School, Theme Parks, Water Parks, Normal Parks, ANY PUBLIC OR POPULAR PLACES AND ATTRACTIONS, you name it.

Fighting to pay for the food at restaurants is a REAL thing. 😂 I worked as a waiter for years and I have seen countless people fight over this or asking me to ''choose'' a credit card. That sh*t was hilarious tho.

I usually smell food before I start eating!… just food that’s it! But yes, I do relate to that habit of yours. I talk to myself nearly all the time in my life, which leads me to be anxious around my peers when I want to talk to someone (when I’m not alone)! I’m autistic, so it’s common for kids like me to do these things. Yeah I have strange habits too

My #1 habit is taping on literally everything that I can tap, I mostly do it when I am bored.

Smell actually is half of the taste experience. It contributes about 70% of the taste.

I can relate to that the frequent chick before leave my house every morning I do the pat down on my jacket and pants to make sure I have my phone wallet earbuds and keys it’s now a habit I’m comfortable with

some weird habits i have is - i always sniffs stuff like freshly out of the box or new books & food - if i were walking down the streets and i saw a cat i will run to in full speed to it just to pet it - if i wore something with pockets i always checks them :,)

As someone with severe OCD, the whole “did you lock the door?” is basically permanent mood.

I always at least offer to pay for stuff for my friends. Reason being is that I feel bad if I don’t and I especially feel bad if people pay for me so I refuse to let anyone else pay for me.

I rewatched this video, not remembering what it was fully about until Emirichu started talking about paying for friends and family when they get food. I'm comfortable enough to say I am an adult now and have a job and I also tend to do thid as well 😂. It gets to the point where my friends and even my brother brings cash to pay for their own things, knowing illegal casually waste my money, lol

One of my habits- giving a friend a drawing! (doesn't have to be of them, of course.) Sometimes, I make drawings of times i'd want to remember, then end up giving it to the person who was included in the memory. I still remember each time I've done it though! So, win win...?~
