Just so you know this song is about Lord Krishna not Lord Jesus Christ. That's who George Harrison, who practiced Hinduism wrote about, in case it matters. But I agree, I want people singing this song at my funeral too!
Having been part of the Hippie culture of the 60's and early 70's this Certainly counts as one of my all time favourite songs. This song was dedicated to Krishna but I personally like to focus on Jesus Christ when I listen to it

I am not religious but even I have to admit this is powerful and hits part of me that I didn't think possible. Wow its an amazing song and I always loved it from when George Harrison released it. I get a various range of emotions whenever I hear this. Well done to all for an absolutely brilliant tribute to the legend that is George Harrison.
I listen to this song everyday, Trevor Jackson’s version is my favorite, then Billy Preston’s and Sheryl Crow. This song is a masterpiece. Rest in Peace George Harrison.
What a sensational singer. I mean, the whole band is superb, but this tune requires someone who can make you feel that real feeling Harrison had when he wrote and sang it and this man totally nailed it
At my age, I don't realize till now the true meaning of the lyrics. When younger, to me it was shallow meaning, the melody is sweet, upbeat. I dance 💃 ♥, and head is occupied with studying, working afterwards. So Sundays for church and family, plus Wednesdays for rosary. Now head has rooms for daily thanking God, giving the time He deserves. I admit I listened to colleague's comments about other religions particularly Muslims, bowing 🙇♂️, saying their prayers 5x / day. At their workplaces and wherever they happened to be for the time, they bow, acknowledging God And why not, He deserves our thanks, our love ; enlightenus, guide us in our daily lives. God bless

That would be a reason to hate it, other than a bunch of Christians making sure to try to manipulate people by making the music in it be a secondary thing... you religious people always ignoring the art itself and thinking you doing good. You destroyed and misunderstood Harrison and most importantly the people in the top of your pyramid, since you sound and hear and act more like Egyptians, the people at the top of your hierarchy whom decided to put this together did it knowing all these what has been just said. I was in the 3rd Field Hospital in Saigon with a punctured eye. They didn't have an eye ward so they put me in the hemorrhoid ward. I had a cheap radio with an earphone. An unauthorized radio station was playing this song over and over. It helped me keep my sanity in a hospital with so many casualties of such a useless war.

Very rarely do you find a cover version of a song that you like as much as the original This version is fantastic . From the backing vocals, the suttle use of tamborine and drum cow bell sound to the small trumpet notes it all comes together perfectly.!!

Yeah, this is probably one of the very rare and closest rendition of George Harrisons' classic My Sweet Lord...it takes several guitars to produce that unique lively and wonderful strumming sound accompanied by that delightful slide...!!!
