Makes sense but there's already an ice attacker which is Ellen so maybe they'll make Miyabi the last anomaly character with the recent trend you're talking about UNLESSS if they changed Miyabi to an electric user which I personally doubt they will but maybe there's a chance

Or maybe they'll make her an ice attacker too because the same case happened between Koleda and Lighter (I'm an Ellen joe fan, I despise the idea of Miyabi becoming an ice attacker, THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!)

@@AppDT-9 if you look at her design she could potentially be fire attacker with the blue flames. And it looks like theyre trying to powercreep the standard banner characters like with grace and koleda next patch. And if miyabi is fire attack then s11 is next. just a guess.

​@@lingwong69 You guys are thinking character design all wrong. "Powercreep" this, "powercreep" that. This game is not an automatic game or a turn based, its action and this helps further the idea of creatin unique characters of the same role. I have Jane and Burnice, but for SURE the next animaly phisical and fire will have different roles. Lighter will have a different role than Koleda. Anby stuns faster than Qingy, but Qingy has a different role. It goes on and on... They can have 4 fire stun characters and they will (hopefully) work differently.

99% she'll be an attack, but man... I'm praying she's anomaly. That said there's a real possibility they'll never add an ice anomaly, remember that Ice stuns the boss for 3 or so seconds so an ice anomaly character has the potential to straight up break the game.

it's very much possible she'll be Fire. A 2-year old WIP game isn't the end all be all. If she's Fire, she only powercreeps a Mainbanner agent, which is less egregious than doing the same to Ellen this early on, and it means she and Ellen could theoretically run in the same patch, with both of them serving as incentives to pull Lighter, who allegedly comes with Fire and Ice synergy. Making her Ice would weaken both her own revenue (for people who already have Ellen) as well as Ellens on her rerun (for people who pull Miyabi), and Lighters too, who would have two incentives to pull for him, Ellen and Miyabi, and not just one. It doesn't really make sense from a business-perspective to keep her an Ice-Attacker, unless she's further down the road than 1.4, which is possible I suppose.

That's EXACTLY, what I'm thinking, buddy. Miyabi being an attacker, sounds absurd, potentially replacing Ellen this early and unsynergized with her right hand person.

Couldn’t agree more and thankful other see the writing on the wall. We’re not even on 2.0 patch and yet just three patches and not even a half a year into the games life span they release a second ice attack agent? Like make it make sense in what world hoyo actively sabotaging their own unit instead of running Ellen’s banner in rerun before Miyabi to maximize profits. It’s only logical to assume Miyabi is anything but ice anomaly as to prevent Ellen stocks from tanking and having people stop from rerolling or getting her if they missed her. And secondly to promote Miyabi as well as the rest of section 6 faction for their ability to cohesively function/synergize together. It’s just a win win all way around. Also sorry for the long winded response. But lastly it would line up is harumasa is an electric support unit therefore running him would trigger yanagis extra ability requirement. TLDR: yanagi NEEDS Miyabi to be anomoly to active her ability and harumasa to be electric as well. Soukaku already has same element/faction requirements and it’d safe to say so will Miyabi and harumasa. Breakdown: Yanagi: electric anomaly (needs anomaly or same attribute agent) Soukaku ice support (needs same attribute/same faction agent) Harumasa: mostly likely A/S electric support (most likely needs same attribute/same faction agent) Miyabi: mostly likely S ice anomaly (most likely needs anomaly or same attribute/same faction agent like yanagi) All of those above would mean the entire faction could have extra ability overlap compared to if Miyabi was ice attack (so she would have Zhu’s requirements for a support unit/same faction agent thus not allowing yanagi to synergize). Again apologies for the long rant but it’s not hard to read the tea leaves she’s going to be an anomaly agent as that’s what hoyo is pushing at least rn.😉

Or they go full tilt and really make Yanagi completely incapable of working with Miyabi and Soukaku which i fucking hope not. The section 6 teams would have them all working together with only the 4* soukaku having a wasted core if you don't get Miyabi. Yanagi Harumasa Soukaku together would work fine minus Soukaku core. Miyabi Harumasa Soukaku would also work fine. And if you really wanted Miyabi Yanagi Soukaku would also work.

You bring up good points and I agree with them. It would be extremely negligible and have me questioning their methods if they left yanagi all alone on an island being the only section 6 faction member incompatible with the other three… Highly doubt they would do that or even go down that line of design philosophy. And looking at possible team comps all of them would be working well in tandem but like you said the outlier is soukaku and her core ability outside of Miyabi support (which is obviously why she was designed with her abilities in mind). Also like you said we have three major team comps and a 4th possible as well. Miyabi/yanagi/harumasa for disorder. Miyabi/yanagi/soukaku for disorder again. Miyabi/harsmasa/soukaku for max Miyabi hyper carry. Finally yanagi/harusama/soukaku for yanagi hyper carry with soukaku losing her core ability. Which is all the more reason that Miyabi will end up being an anomaly agent. It just seems like clear bait when you think about it sense lighter is limited to just attack agents or same faction agents. Best to be safe and save for the rest of section 6 members after yanagi banner. 🙂

@Salmon_Toastie I know, that's why I specify ice for a crit boosting support, but I'm saying Miyabi probably won't be the dedicated support with ally crit buffs in addition to triggering freeze and shatter.

An Ice Anomaly would still benefit from stun. Shatter increases CRIT damage taken so Ice Anomaly would have to lean into Crit and Miyabi will have a unique core like Jane and Yanagi that will probably have some form of bonus damage like assault but for Ice instead.

Ice RES shreds and ice dmg increase buffs work for Anomaly too If u don't know, so the possibility for Miyabi being an Anomaly unit is as much as an Attacker

I'm saying this everywhere because i don't think people realize what ice does. Shatter increases CRIT damage taken so Ice Anomaly would still be benefiting from crit scaling. Not to mention Miyabi will 100% get a super unique core like Jane.

First off, this kit was like 2 something years ago and there were many characters from the beta that were updated to be what they are now. 99% chance her kit will be changed. Second, not being consistent damage does not equal bad. We already see this with zhu yuan in the form of “burst dps”

She's definitely gonna be an Ice Anomaly for sure (I hope) because the element ice's only missing class is Anomaly. The element ice only contains a supporter, a stunner & an Attacker and I've got a feeling that the devs are also aware of the community of getting upset of Miyabi becoming an ice attacker because I assume that people will think she's a replacement of Ellen Joe, but people loves Ellen which includes me as well and I hate that idea

Oh wait, I forgot that Anomaly isn't the only missing class from ice, it's also defense class

But I doubt she would be a defender anyway based off of her playstyle

@@G4TWA For real. Before Jane came out, assault being able to crit was unheard of. They can easily give Miyabi some powerful gimmick like that.
