That ASMR of Shinano tickled my nerves a LOT

Fun fact: Shinano is apart of the Yamato-Class. She is Yamato's little sister. She was supposed to be a Battleship but late into the war. She was refit to be a carrier instead. Though she never saw combat. She was in the middle of trails when the USS Archerfish Torpedoed her and she split in two...sinking. So there is hope Yamato will be in the game...someday.

As a commander who only started in February this year, the pain of not having event ships or even a chance at their reruns is tremendous

Shinano's sleepiness might be a reference to how she never saw combat, while her HP, armor, and barrage ability all reference the fact that she was a battleship conversion, laid down as the 3rd Yammato class battleship.

I couldn't wait to see when a Shinano vid would come up but the wait is worth it for the shinano is here, now we wait for fox mating season.

Shinano really shines with Enterprise and Essex as backline buddies. With Helena Retro at Vanguard, you can easily have 6 Backline ships worth of damage for the cost of only 3 slots. Give them all +13 Ryuusei, and it's even scarier.

Still waiting for Yamato and Musashi to show up. I take it their appearance will be similar to Shinano. I just hope they dont give them different rarity like what they did to poor Mutsu (Elite) and Nagato (Super Rare). I wonder if Fubuki will ever get a retrofit like Ayanami.

Just here to say it took me more cubes to get Baltimore than going full pity for Shinano.

One thing that wasn't explicitly pointed out (though does little but further emphasize the point) is that Shinano is the only carrier atm whose standard loadout amounts to 9 planes, rather than 8 or fewer. The extra plane factors into her airstrike timing, making the higher reload a necessity to (somewhat) recoup the innate loss in speed. She remains a bit on the slow side as a result but just hits ever harder for it.

Her butterfly barrage is excellent at shredding shields She can dish out quite alot of damage in Ashes showdown if you can land the Ryuuseis ofc and time it right Helena scan (can be slowed down with normal Ark, Centaur, and heavy duty CV Formidable to increases hit chance) She will be less effective against upcoming Helena after Ark META so prep up your FDG comrades, and other HE powerhouses

Wow,shinano is a ultra rare ship i didnt got any ultra but i got 6 SR ships and oathed shoukaku so she is very strong along with the 2 limit breaks

Probably the Reason for Shinano to be the First UR Carrier, is because she's the First Super Carrier to be Built, and to Grace the Seas, Sadly she was Torpedoed by USS Archerfish, and Sunk, also one of the Reasons is Probably because shes the Third Ship of the Yamato-Class, of Super Battleships, Converted to a Carrier Late into the War when the IJN needed more Carriers, she was Made Late... Too late to make a Difference in the War With this Said... There is a Probability the More URs will Come... Like Her Older Sisters, Musashi and Yamato herself... Only Time Will Tell

I’m a little surprise you don’t address it a bit more, but Shinano has 9 planes. That’s 1 more then anyone else. And with 4 of them being Trp at 140% she *really* favors boss killing torp set up. Its kind of a small detail but I think it’s an important note for an UR ship as it shows conventional wisdom of UR ships can be tweaked. For instance we might see a BB with +1 salvo x3 or MG+2 on a UR CB. Other then that great break down.

Da floof sleeps hard...... VERY HARD.... And most importantly : YOU DON'T WANT TO ANGRY THAT FLOOFY SLEEPYHEAD, she will definetly destroy you, akagi watching you in a distance and half the dorms with a sweep of the hand. Lucky you, she's too sleepy to get angry. Just hug her tight and sleep as she's one of the only UR ships that won't try anything funny or mess your mind with weird shit. I usually just let her sleep on siren ops on the support fleet as I already have better options ( or trying weird broken ass ships formations ) for anti boss Nice support Fox Mommy Nice thighs Can defend the support fleet if needed Always sleepy but doesn't drink so she won't bother you much Sensitive ears *-> Best waifu confirmed*

Interesting the DD buff suits certain DDs; sleepy DDs like Laffey and Le Malin. Though i realize that she oes lean into TBs rather hard (definite boss killer material) And as far as Slow Ahead? How she's rendered in her chapter is rather close to anime Bismarck, thus the anime would push her to equal or bigger (It seems to emphasize/etc such things more than the manga does... which is saying something) Btw you might want to remake some new vids for units buffed on Dec 22nd (definitely have to go and look up what ones you've already covered. Oh there's no list in the description The ones buffed were South Dakota, Massachusetts, Reno, Javelin (minor), Takao class (mainly barrage), Graf Zepplin, Prince of Wales, Shoukaku (Minor), Zuikaku, Taihou, Giant Hunter ships (Ajax, Achillies, Exeter), Victorious.

Me sitting with my Nagato, Amagi, and Shinano backline...and Yukikaze, Jintsuu, and Dev 30 Azuma frontline. Let me tell you...that is the most broken IJN fleet you can run in pvp. Shinano ALWAY gets MVP even if I put her in fleets that don't buff carriers or IJN ships. She is unquestionably the strongest IJN ship. Hell I think she's actually the strongest ship currently. I'd expect nothing less of a Yamato class ship.

Oof, you left that in-game mistake in the vid man. 1st skill lauches Shiden Kai 2, Ryuusei, *and* Saiun barrage, not *or*. It's easy enough to spot since the Ryuuseis proc 100% of the time along with the Saiun debuff when Shinano airstrikes (also the AL wiki corrects this). Don't trust everything in-game, Hawk.

Interesting how IRL Shinano was very lackluster: poor hangar capacity due to how far along in development she was as a BB, poor equipment for control parties, and was sunk within the same year of her commission... Meanwhile in AL she's regarded as the best CV in the game... (not trying to sound salty, just interesting)
