Dude that's such a badass looking truck. I've got a stock 17 and I just commented on your installl video for the pedal monster about your wheel and tire setup but now seeing this one I'm making a goal list lol. Again real nice rig
@@Below_average_bowler yes. I have the Banks derringer, banks pedal monster, banks triple gauges, banks diff cover, banks monster exhaust, as used to have the banks ram air intake( it was awesome) I only went with the WC fab intake because it could be power coated. All of their stuff is killer.
@Link’s Garage My man, I really appreciate it. I literally just bought everything you said aside from I already have an S&B intake on and that's gotta go just not happy with it. Can't close mt hood without easing it down and slamming it closed. Took it out and put it back in a few times and they won't exchange it plus I heard a video of that stage 3 combo from wc fab and damn it sounded great.
First time I saw one of your videos it was for the wehrli valance cover. Love the look and had to have it for my 2019 Chevy truck. Question though, how is your pedal monster and AMP steps plugged in at the same time into the OBD port? Thanks for the tutorials!
Hi again, have you ever thought about doing wheel well lights? I’ve been thinking about adding them on my Duramax. Love my Diesel LEDS and thought this might make a good addition.
I’m going to be 100% honest. Ive thought about Rock lights. But, I’m almost 40 years old. That’s just ain’t my style. I don’t knock it. Everyone likes what they like. Do what drives you man! I’ll support it. 💪🏼
So I was wondering, if you plan on getting those LED door handles? Those are sweet looking & you can get switch back to work with your turn signal. Also, when you did the lighting in your Tow mirrors do those work with your signal, or is it just stationary light?
@@linksgarage1985 I watched the video, I'm thinking about getting the switch back ones, but I was wondering it's possible to have them work with the signal too? I know they don't stock.
Also I was thinking about putting a bank's big ass air on my L5P I was just wondering why you went with Werlhi rather than banks and then also I was getting ready to put a 5-in muffler back pipe on my L5P and I'm just wondering if you have done that also
Pretty much same truck here. Are those LEDs just plug and play? Do you have any issues with the old halogen light housings? Was your truck LED before you dropped those in?
My lights were not LED. They are plug and play. Still love them to this day. Here’s a full install. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jNQd18tinas.html
@linksgarage1985 I have a 17' Duramax L5P with a HP tune as well as a delete, would you recommend me to install the banks monster exhaust even though I am not running a Banks tune? its just straight piped with an aftermarket tip right now.
I like the werlhi brand and I was just wondering why or if you put a intake horn on the intake I seen you got an air intake but I didn't see a intake horn at the end they look like you had the stock intake going on just wondering if you were going to put that on there too
Yes. It has Wehrli 3.5 inch intake horn, intake, Wehrli hot side and cold side piping etc. The intake horn was the first thing I did. All install vids on the channel
@@linksgarage1985 you aint lyning man! I heard the prices went down some, apparently u can get everything for around 4k. But still thats a big penny lol. I appreciate it a lot man thank you, that means a lot to me bro!!🙌🏾💯 keep em up man!
@@linksgarage1985 WC offers a few silver powder coatings options that look like it would match the other stock silverish grey parts or just go with plan old flat black. I like the stock look and plan on keeping the stock filter box also. Thanks!
So I got a question about the L5P I just bought one 2021 and it's got like a knock or a tick or something on the if I'm inside it's on the passenger side is that normal for duramax's to have that knock or tick I kind of heard it in this video when he was outside filming the lights but it's just sounds like a knock or a tick and I'm just making sure that it's the good or that's what's supposed to happen to a Duramax
