That's a fun ship, managed to pick one up a few months ago. One of my more nimble torpedo builds.

I made this video several months before the Hydra came out. That shouldn't be a secret either (the release date is right in the description). I like the Adamant over the Legendary Defiant because it has much better seating, being a full Intel ship with a secondary Temporal seat. Legendary Defiant is double Pilot; even with the Pilot revamp (which also happened many months after this video was released) no one needs that much pilot seating.

I love the Galaxy class, I was practically raised on TNG reruns so it always has a special place in my heart, but I'm convinced someone on the ship design team at Cryptic must hate the Galaxy because every version of that ship has pretty subpar boff seating. Legendary Defiant is a lot of fun. I'm not the biggest fan of pilot seating, but there's something really fun about having a Defiant with Pilot Maneuvers.

@@Stu1701 a decade old minecraft server dedicated to building Star Trek ships in minecraft. I've built over 40 ships. My pride and joy is the Enterprise E. Fully exploreable. Took about 2 years to do. I also made the Enterprise D. She took 5.

Inquiry is a great ship. Honestly, wish the Lexington had it's boff layout. and the 5/3 weapons layoug.

I never thought of that, but you're right, the Lexington does kinda give off some USS Premonition vibes.

1. That is a mixed Beam Overload build, specifically this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rAAO2V8SqqQ.html The only change I've made to that build since I posted it was that I swapped out a Locator for the Alliance Carrier's console. 2. I often recommend the Gagarin as an upgrade from the Arbiter. Both are 5/3 Battlecruisers, but the Gagarin has better seating and is a full Miracle Worker ship. It's a fantastic Beam Overload boat. I've got some more videos in the works, some guides to help out new players because the Summer Event often attracts new or returning players. I've got an idea for a budget build I want to do. And a friend just gave me an idea for another meme video, which will probably happen soon.

@@Stu1701 Thanks for the advice and looking forward to the new vids, always enjoy your content. And I'll give the Gagarin another chance, I did a build on it but it always felt less potent then my Arbiter build. Guess I'll do some Japori timing to see if it's just my interpretation or if my build really does suck.

Titan is a good ship, that'd high on my list too. It's gorgeous, and being a science destroyer you can set it up in some interesting ways.

One of these days I really hope we get a Legendary Prometheus. It'd be great to fly a full Command version.

@@Stu1701 I would love for something with a better AI so you can really get the feel of a "personal fleet" like they were going for in the show. Instead of just becoming incredibly fragile. Maybe they could copy your weapons load out across all three sections.

@@Stu1701 Legendary Prometheus, hhhmmmmmm what to say, only think is that i will buy him stright away in the moment of release :D love that ship so much and and with good console wich will make separation posiable and have some good pasives, it will be even greater. Sidenote im huge fan of Escorts / Destroyers atm i still fly my Legend Defiant altought i already got Terran one aswell.

Both are really good ships. I know the Inquiry didn't make this top 5 list, but it is still pretty high on my faves list. I actually wish the Lexington had it's seating and weapons layout. If we're just talking DPS potential, the Inquiry has more of an edge, but not a big one. I get what you mean about price, the Inquiry was released temporarily to the Lobi store for a short time, which effected it's price on the exchange. Ultimately, I think it comes down to which you do you think you'll have more fun in, the Flight Deck Carrier or the Battlecruiser?

There's no "best" ship in Star Trek Online. There's so much customization and different ways of setting up both your character and your ship you can play however you like on whatever you like. My advice would be to pick the ship you like most, and go from there.

@@Stu1701 I guess it’s true since I primarily use universal consoles so console slots don’t matter I guess maybe was thinking such becuz the pilot escorts you got tactical engineering science pilot escorts I use neither of the 3 tho I do have a kitbash printed lol, maybe was hoping there was such difference I love the adamant but gets boring same ship so thought maybe I could change it up with a engineering and science toon I guess it’s gonna be my discretion, tho I use universal consoles maybe I will try finding a science and engineering ship and actually play with out universal consoles except for the universal slot I have the 10th anniversary bundle so I do have 10 ships there to choose from plus event win ships and my two free zen ships tokens I did choose the tokens tho there is some lock box ships I want temporal toon I’ve decided to use jefferies class kitbash tho I wish I could undo a I choose Phantom escort on purpose but disappointed haven’t used it much tho tho I do like discoprise I want a tos build discoprise doesn’t have much variants to choose from hopefully the future someone will do a discoprise phase II lol I like the dual turbo lift and the neck torpedo from phase II tos that’s why I use as my temporal toon I need more bridge toons tho I’m playing ps so I’ve only been playing two year worth events so I got last years event campaign too I’m even designing a tos ship but I don’t personally know how to render tried to learn add adhd delexia gets in the way but I try starting with a ship plaque easy enough tos style should be a simple learning design and slowly work on more difficult perhaps if I could take a line click and drag along with their key designs also gotta do it in 2d so I have a platform

The Verity is only available in the 10th Anniversary bundle. The Legendary bundles only pop back into the C-store after their initial release during the release of another new Legendary bundle or during certain sales, like Black Friday or the Winter sale. It's a great bundle because it includes 10 ships plus the consoles and traits of all the previous versions of those ships, but it's not going to be cheap.

I'd definitely recommend the Temporal Light Cruiser. The Atlas is a decent ship, but it's main selling point is the DPRM, which is very useful, but really not a must-have unless you're wanting to get into the dps chase. As a playable ship, the TLC is far superior. If the Atlas was a full Temporal ship I'd be great, but with only a Lt.Cmdr. Temporal seat you're stuck with only Recursive Shearing 1, and it only has a Lt. level Command seat, so it's not going to be a good torpedo build either. The only thing I like about the Atlas is the that it's a dreadnought, so it'll have a hangar pet and the crit chance buff in its mastery. The Connie has a much stronger and more versatile boff layout and the ship is much more maneuverable.

@@Stu1701 Yeah, that's exactly what I've been thinking. Problem is, I'm mainly about the Space Barbie now, and I really do like the Atlas in that regard. I might literally flip a coin when it comes time to choose, because I just can't decide.

I haven't. It's a meta torpedo build, so you can probably find something similar on Auggie's channel. I haven't done a meta torp build video in a while, those kind of video don't do very well.

Tier 5 ships are very out of date. They don't have specializations, they most of them require a Tier 5-U token to make their stats comparable to tier 6 ships, which is going to be important to keep up with in endgame content. The only tier 5 ship I would recommend it the Hirogen Hunter Escort: it's a lock box ship, but can be bought on the exchange relatively cheap (like a few million EC), and it's the only one that can be upgraded to T5-U for free. I'm curious, which Tier 6 ship do you have that sucks?

@@Stu1701 my T6 is the Andromeda Sciences Cruiser which turns like a bloody oiltanker on ice. my T5 are the Avenger Class and the Armitage Class, the Armitage is my fave out of the three. its a f2p account and i had a freaking long break so no much currency at all to just spent C to get a decent T6. tho my two ships on my T6 wish list would be the Gagarin and the Lexington ( last one inspired by you )

you're gonna need to be more specific, I don't know what you mean by "multi spoke phaser attack"

@@Stu1701 So in the video, every few seconds the ships is "firing" a multi spoke weapon. Not sure if it is a console or not, just that I have never seen something like that before. TIA

might be referring to the Sentry Mode from the Ba'ul Sentry ship. Hard to be sure based on your description.

yeah, that bummed me out too, I would've liked the option to have to have just the pod or just the lance cannon. Both of them are on the hull section of the ship, so they're both on one piece.

@@Stu1701 Heh, I personally like flying weird alien ships more than Fed anything, and well... it's not that I hate the Connie... it's that I'd... well... rather fly something that looks cooler. :p Like the Borg Type 3 or Viridian Dread. :)

I love the Legendary version. Being full Intel with a Lt.Cmdr temporal seat, it's the only ship that can be doubly effected by Vanguard Specialists because you can buff Surgical Strikes and Recursive Shearing.
