Thanks for sharing the items that you think every photographer should own. Photographic accessories that I find useful include: Tripod Remote shutter release Camera bag or case Lens cleaning accessories I think a multiple tool set would be very useful. I think I will get one. I would buy extra batteries before I bought another battery charger. I would buy extra memory cards before I bought an SSD memory drive. I would buy a graphics drawing tablet with a screen instead of a tablet that was just a drawing pad. Photographers who only shoot black & white have very little use for a monitor color calibrator.

Good list of useful tools that support the photographer without them being cameras, lenses, etc. Any plans to do a video about how you use the tablet for editing, which editing software you use, and whether you can use the SSD with the tablet?

I’m remodeling my landscaping trailer into a Mobile photography/videography business. I would like to know what you would recommend using for Lens and lighting. Currently I have a “handmedown” Canon Rebel T5. Thank you for your content very helpful!

Good video... I have the 28mm, 50mm and 85mm F/1.8 lenses.... which fit both my APSC and my FF cameras. I'm just a hobbyist... but they provide me a good range and are fast. If I get into wedding photography... I'll probably have to invest in a 100/105mm macro lens and a 200/150-400 zoomie. We'll see. - Still looking for that nightvision and infrared lens.

1. Samsung 2tb drive... check. Small rig multi tool.... check. 3. Multi charging dock... Check! 4. Drawing tablet... Check! 5. Monitor calibration tool.... well damn! I have at least 4/5 items on this list. Not bad! Before I got a smallrig multi tool, I used to use bicycle multi tools as the budget option, they seem to have close to the same tools but at fraction of the cost but doesn't hold up as quality compared to the smallig multi tool, I wish everything i owned was made with that kind of precision.

I also used to use the bike tools. I still have mine somewhere.. :-)

I don't have a tripod or a camera cage so I don't need a multi tool for them. You've got serious gas

Have you watched any other videos or just this one? Because all of them clearly have intention to be helpful not profitable. For good honest channels like these that are actually useful and straight to the point I don’t mind clicking on a few links to help myself out or help the creator.

I find your list to be NON Essential for a non working professional. Items that will help an amature photographers and lets be real, 99% of people that watch youtube videos are not pros. I watch YT videos to LOL at all the bad advice I see. How about a list that will help thoes that need it. In my 40 years of being a working pro I find the following list to be most helpful: 1. Passport Color checker to balance WB 2. A flash/spot meter (if you dont know how to use it you need to learn how to use it) 3. An OCF for thoes dreaded *natural light* portrait photographers *gasp* 4. A Monopod 5. Books, Books, Books, Books that teach you how to get it right IN CAMERA.

A slightly smug professional photography perhaps?.........I liked the 😊list and if we can afford cameras and lenses costing many thousands of pounds or dollars, a few hundred here or there on practical, usable accessories, why not...even as a 40 year amateur 😊
