Toupac is male, but you might be thinking of Ripley, who passed away a bit before he rescued Toupac. She was a Female Toco while Toupac is a male Toco. Maeve is a young female Red Bill.
My cousin went to prison for 4 years and when she came home her parrot was so angry that it took 13 years for the parrot to forgive her now they are just like old friends. Talk about holding a grudge
Jeremy Smith YOU KNOW YOU CAN BE A PERSON\PEOPLE & NOT BE HUMAN RIGHT?! I'M TALKING LEGAL DEFINITION, THEY ARE DIFFERENT. FOR INSTANCE A CORPORATION IS AN ARTIFICIAL PERSON...
My seramas (mini chickens) do the same beak “chattering” when they are getting snuggled up as well. They don’t do the vocalization that Toupac does, but the beak makes that same noise. I heard it means they’re very content and happy.
Toucans use there voice its them makeing the noise if they used there beak it could harm thwm and or damage there beak unlike chickens who have a strong small beak toucans have a long beak and a voice they use there voice to make clicking noises
Animals are so honest in their love and emotions. When they miss you they really show it. People that say animals have no emotion or cant express love should watch this and other like videos. 💙!
YES! I cant stand when ppl say that. How can they not see in behavior and their reactions to different situations that they show emotions. Some think because they dont speak in words that they cant possibly understand or feel emotions
@@lil_weasel219 The word animal is used to describe organisms other than humans, at least, that's a big part of the word. Otherwise we would hardly use the word.
So sweet! That's amazing that Toupac does this formal greeting - you sure have a close bond with your toucans! They know they are loved, and they love you - that's so wonderful to see!
@@yamanmustafa7574 I understand your confusion and dedication to this 6 month old comment, but I was referencing Toupac's concern for his back and the instant need to nom on his nose to make sure that he is alright. So grammatically speaking, it is being used correctly.
There is nothing like seeing the excitement in your companion animal to see you again after a period of time away from them. When I had my finch, he would be so excited and sing so loudly. It's cool to learn about the ways in which toucans "speak" and what their behaviors mean. This channel has been so informative for me.
@@samtrujillojr So true. Years ago I had 10 Rescue Rats and they were the sweetest little angels. So affectionate and cuddly. Rescuing unwanted, abandoned animals is a modern form of heroism
I loved the little bounce moves he did🥰 He was so happy to see you!!! I always love learning new and interesting little facts about Toucans so wonderfully illustrated by these two👍😊
This is a perfect examples of heart eyes moment 😍 Toupac truly sees you as his family, and this is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. ❤️🧡💛🐧💛🧡❤️
I stumbled across this video, and found myself tearing up. I grew up with a parrot, who loved to hop on my shoulder and would tuck her head down toward my chin, so I could stroke her just like you do with Tupac. It just struck me now how much I miss her.
Omg Ithat is gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ He hops and kisses of HAPPINESS !❤️❤️❤️ Super AFFECTIONATE..MORE THAN SOME HUMANS!!!!!! I cannot believe it!!!!
That was so cool and touching to watch. Plus shout out to the friends that help Brock out. As a pet parent I know I appreciate people I can trust to take care of my babies when I have to be gone.
You should try to learn or adapt a behavior that would say back to him what he is saying to you with the headshake. I learnt to adapt certain horse behaviors to say back to them what they were saying to me. It helps, it really does. You should also write an article up for the bird magazines to remind people what the behavior is about.
There's a South African youtuber who has to tigers and he communicates with them like doing the greeting/yo, we are cool/good to see you-huffing sound. There are definitely ways to communicate with other animals beyond just our own languages. :)
Not only did you save his life, you showed him it was safe to actually love someone. He knows you understand and he is so very happy for your return. Life is grand! People learn from your fine example, very important work you are doing.
And you know what's cool? Cats make a similar chittering/chattering sound when they see birds. It's thought that they mimic greeting calls in order to lure prey in.
Wow! They have an amazing life! I sure wish all of the unwanted, neglected and abused birds and other animals could find awesome homes with loving parents like this😇💕💞 Well more like the parents find them😁
Wow it seriously shows the relationship with the bird. This explains why I saw this at a zoo when a bird separated from the toucans for medical treatment was returned after a week absence. The carers were baffled i wish i could forward this. Incredibly enlightening
That is the most wonderful thing I have ever seen! Of course it makes sense that flock members would greet each other after an absence, but to see it on film, wow. Toupac was so glad to see you, he's such an affectionate boy! Maeve, that crazy kid made the clicking sound at least, it is interesting that this is a behavior that begins at one year of age. Thanks for sharing this! So sweet and so educatonal at the same time!
Forgot to say, yes, to live streams along with regular videos! People who don't like them can watch as regular videos later, or not at all. I really can't see why anyone would object to real time glimpses of Toupac and Maeve!
That’s a massive commitment to have pets like this. U can’t leave with out them and then it takes a serious toll if one passes away. U really have to be 110% committed.
