Carol thank you so much for sharing your story!! It's very unfortunate that explorative therapy and trying to find the root cause of GD is so frowned upon in the trans movement. It's very much "Yes, yes, you're trans. Now here's some hormones". You said it very well "It's ideologically driven, not scientifically driven". Stories like yours are so important! @@lemon1657 Zero evidence other than liars that have not had a professional lie detector test done on them that will show they had some strong same-sex attraction feelings during childhood. So a few years after that (2002-2004, i can't recall the precise year) i revall adolescent girls discussing with sympathy how trans ?? (I can't recall if they used the term transgender or transwomen, or transsexual) People needed to use women's bathrooms. I said that it should be decided on chromosomes, and they said it was impractical to genetically test everyone using a public toilet. So even 2000 years ago rhe trans movement was ruthlessly taking advantage of female socialisation to be kind and pretending that surgery and hormones would make a man pass as a woman so well his true sex could only be discerned by chromosomal testing
Thank you for sharing your story. Sadly, it’s very common. One of my personal goals is to make butch lesbians feel welcomed and accepted in the lesbian community and hopefully beyond. What do you think trans questioning butches need the most right now?
Yeah, they are definitely included in womanhood from my perspective. We need to bring back lesbian community in a major way. Butches are vital to lesbianism.
Your voice is my goals. I'm early in questioning detransition, and I've never seen a detransitioner who had a butchy voice still. How did you manage that????
@@SourPatches2077 sorry! You sound distinctly female but have a touch of the "lesbian accent" so to speak. It might be more common in the eastern US, but there's a lesbian equivalent of twink voice, that's sort of masculine mannerisms over a female voice.
@@James-wi9un that is a whole lot of thinking put into how a person sounds. All I can say is I don’t try to sound any particular way. This is just my voice. From what I’ve noticed starting T as a full grown woman doesn’t deepen most women’s voices as much as when you start in your teens or early 20’s.
Funny how trans people don't even need to take hormones or transition in any way physically to be trans but Carol "didn't transition" enough according to you despite actually taking hormones and growing facial hair. The hypocrisy and lack of empathy of people like you is staggering. You should expect the same compassion you give to detrans people. None.
