This channel was something very special Steph. Unless you become a travel channel host or tv personality, I Hope one day that you decide to start making travel videos and vids like this one again, even if it’s only every few months. You are so talented that if your channel died it would be a tragedy.
Yes, of all the abandoned channels on RU-vid to me this one is the most tragic. This woman did all her own editing and everything and is an incredibly talented content creator.
Your page definitely needs more recognition Steph! I randomly stumbled upon your video when I was in Hong Kong for three days with my father. Your Hong Kong guide was very informative and your videos are shot beautifully. Even though we were there for a short period of time, Hong Kong was amazing thanks to you. Cheers from Jersey
@@StephTaylerLiveof all the abandoned channels on RU-vid, to me this will be the most tragic loss. I stumbled on your channel back in 2018 after I retired from the Army and was debating on moving to Orcas Island Washington and watched every video I could find. Yours is the one that convinced me to do it, which turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I hope life is treating you well Steph and that whatever you have moved on to doing is going well.
Your bucket list is excellent, filled with some of the most beautiful and inspiring places on earth... I sincerely hope you can show us in more detail because most of us, unfortunately will never experience their unique beauty
Went to Mont St. Michel waaaaay back in 1987 (yeah I'm old) as a teen and I still remember it so well. We got to watch the tide come in which turns it from a hill in the middle of nowhere into an island. The towns along the northern coast are quaint, Dinard in particular. I look forward to you checking some of these destinations off the list.
Wonderful video. All of the places on your travel bucket list are on my list as well, with exception to the North and South Poles. Not sure I could handle the cold temperatures. Really enjoy your perspective on all your videos. I look forward to enjoying many more once you are able to travel again. Take Care.
I think while she was on hiatus during the Corona quarantine, she moved on with her life and either started a new business, found a new career or just found another hobby/project and lost interest in YT. Either way it’s such a shame, she was amazingly talented.
Steph Tayler: excellent destination choices for your Bucket List. I would concur with many of them. But did you forget about South America? Brazil? The Amazon? Machu Picchu? Salar de Uyuni....will absolutely take your BREATH away. To paraphrase Shakespeare: There are more things in Heaven and Earth...than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
Hi Steph! You probably dont renember me from the Periscope days but i was the goofy Wayne's World guy. I do videos about castles and woo stuff now. Why arent you doing content on RU-vid? You're a pro! 🖖
Your Russian impression is awesome! 2 of my friends are moving to Bali from LA this year, they said the same thing, it’s an awesome place. I would also recommend Iceland, if you want to see some out of this world sceneries.
That's a great list Steph. My top 5 has always been Scotland, Fiji, Australia, Italy (to study the history), and Thailand. Btw, I love the relationship that you have with your dad. That's amazing and I'm sure he's been a huge influence on who you've become.
I’ scuba dive and free dive most of the places on your bucket list I’ve been I’ve even drove Antarctica with a dry suit i’ve been to Philippines diving you have to go to Puerto Galera awesome dive spot Palawan The best way to interact with a whale shark is free dive it’s awesome ....Hope you get to make it to all those places I look forward to watching your adventure again
I know you can’t travel because of what’s going on but you haven’t made a video in quite some time? Why don’t you do one that’s in your area? Isn’t there a lot to see in your neck of the woods? I used to live in North Bend and Bellevue so off the top of my head I could think of Snoqualmie Falls, or taking a ferry out to one of the islands like Bainbridge or Bremerton or I don’t know if you’ve ever gone up to North Bend but at Rattlesnake Lake you could take a tour if you sign up to go inside the watershed and see all the amazing things that are off-limits to the public! You wouldn’t believe it but there’s a lake that’s bigger than Lake Sammamish lake! 🤯 EDIT: maybe you did I didn’t scroll all the way down to your videos and I just did and I think I saw a couple I just mentioned?🤦
So many amazing places to check out in the world. I think Switzerland would be so amazing. I really want to check out a mountain rollercoaster and be able to explore the mountains.❤❤
I didn’t think Lonely Planet was still around....they had a good travel show and for every country I travelled to in my 20-30’s I bought a Lonely Planet book to read up on the culture, history and travel tips...helped with avoiding scams targeting single travellers in Athens. I’m all work, work, so I guess I have to see the world via YT now...he he. I would like to see The Great Wall, Tokyo, eat tapas in Spain, and stroll thru Copenhagen one day...who knows?
Eonni ❤️ I believe you will go to all of these places one day!! Manifest it and you will claim it ✨ it’s just a matter of time 🤗 and Myanmar date!! I’m speaking it into existence 👯♀️✈️
I believe you will get to travel again soon Steph 👍🏻 you never been to the Grand Canyon? I had fun there in 2006, I wasn’t ready for the altitude changes there
Here are a few tips for your bucket list Galapagos : go island hopping instead of a cruise go slightly before peak season mantarys here and sting rays and turtles are better and bigger than anywhere on the planet Google los tuneless and kicker rock for diving Banff: hike up to the beehive. At lake Luis. Jasper >>>> banff cos of low tourist traffic Grand Canyon: try and go on a white water rafting trip. It’s life changing Yellow stone: camp. Camp camp Switzerland ; stay in the jungfrau region day trip to the matahorn Antarctica: spend time in Argentina and knock on the doors of cruise ship companies in ushuiaia. They have last minute prices that are 90% lesser. That’s considerable as antaarcrica cruises are 10-20k per person and while you are there check out Argentinian Patagonia in el chalten. If you don’t wanna spend that much instead go to Falkland Islands. You see all the fauna flora and landscapes there and a small portion of the price. Scotland : Whiskey best whiskey experience is in the scotch whiskey experience in Edinburgh Don’t waste time at lochness Isle of skye is magical. Plan to do old man of storr and guinrang hike and it’s very drone friendly get amazing shots. Plan to make it to the Harry Potter train and wait for it. It’s magical seeing the train than on it. Edinburh is magical definitely do the Arthur’s seat hike Myanmar: not safe. Went on a research trip and got visa for 2-3 days only time For the research in and out Tibet: haven’t been there but have been to Bhutan same landscape and lot safer lot better hikes and the monstaries are far better and people are super friendly.
Hi steph! I'm planning my next trip and probably it will be to the south east Asia, I'd like to know your personal opinion, if you could choose between Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia, how would be the top 3 ranking?
Exciting! Of the three places you listed, I've only been to Thailand and loved it, but I'm hearing the most positive things about Philippines. But personally, since Bali is at the top of my list, it has my vote ;)
First! This pandemic has canceled 3 of our international travel plans for this year. Were taking a RV trip to Yellowstone and a few other parks near it from San Francisco in September 2020! I'll be posting a video of the trip on my channel. Check it out!
@@StephTaylerLivehope your still coming back. It’s a shame that a channel as good as this was abandoned and a content creator as talented as you went dark. The last few years have been rough and we need all the positivity we can get now.
