Im not a plane expert. Looking at this configuration isn't better having both engines rotating in opposite direction. I mean the blades. I think they cut the air at same direction.

Ali try an ND filter on your Go Pro - it will take away the props bending - all you see is a clear fan through the props... much better footage!

Is there a "mini" version, 1.8m is wayyyyy too big for me! I'm looking for an FPV airplane that has twin motors but is around 1 meter-ish wingspan. Thanks!

Hey Alishamao, I want to order this aircraft for aerial mapping, but my concern is that, I want to use A6000 camera which is 4.7" wide, would it fit inside the fuselage?? Also, I want to have the wing extensions removable, otherwise it is too wide for transportation. Can you suggest how to connect the extension for detach-ability? hanks in Advance!

Hi, It looked like the arrow pointing to front on the flight controller was facing to the tail of the plane, is this correct ?

crackerjackxxxx This flight controller can be mounted in 4 different directions. Then in the setup menu you have to make sure to choose which way you have pointed the arrow (what direction the AP Is mounted) and you are all good to go. thats why we love this FC.

HiAlishamo as I see at 5:04 of the video you used voltage regulator. When I checked aomway tx, it has 12v and 5 v output. Why didn't you used that for the camera.Sorry for my meddlesome question.:)

Ok I got it, there is no voltage regulator in it from 16v to 12v. Just for 12v to 5v.

so tempting to get me one of these planes. already have the mfd autopilot. i like faster planes, i wonder whats the cruise speed about? my penguin cruises at around 50-55km/h

I have set my MFD AP to 50kmph Cruise speed. But it takes it from Airspeed sensor so ground speed can reach upto 80kmph cruising :D

MTD is best. Ranger is a toy compared to MTD. don't waste time on Ranger

DAVEEYEINTHESKY weight so light :) that you won't believe. but can carry Dual 10000mAh 4S or single 20000mAh 4S to fly :) then weight it another story

Hey why is the Autopilot facing towards the rear? Something you can change in settings I believe?

yes you can mount this autopilot in 4 different orientations and during setup choose the orientation you mounted it in.

We will release a full bundle for 20 to 40km flights that will have everything in it. But if bought from MFD site, its just a kit. nothing else

Brian Michael a complete ready to fly can cost a lot depending upon what you want to set it up with but kit is only 159$

Brian Michael First learn how to fly the plane or drone then fly FPV. FPV is not the same as flying line of sight, where you have constant sight of your aircraft. Once you go full immersion, the experience is different, its a whole new different world. Its very easy to get disoriented, you could easily lose or crash your aircraft. Flying FPV is a very big step, so you should start small and then slowly advance as you become a more experienced flyer.

Brian Michael no problems, also since you are new at this hobby, you should look into buying an RTF (ready to fly) airplane kit. Try visiting a local hobby store in your city, they may have something cheaper and easier to fly. Just a suggestion.

Why are the props going the same direction. counter-ratating props wold improve flight characteristics substantially, and you won't have a critical engine in the event of a failure. 80+ minutes, well, could be better.. anyway, looks like a fun beginners plane.

MFD has used both types, Counter rotating and same rotation, both has same flight performance, so we do not bother now.

No!! No more FPV!!! I'm so jelly. I want to get into FPV, but it's such a huge investment and around£150 just to start out with a Mobius camera, simple portable monitor, transmitter, receiver and batteries... And without an actual flying thing like a quad or a plane (that can sufficiently carry the weight). I want to mount it to a custom build quad, but that would bring the price up to like £300... I'm 17 with no savings and only a 1 day a week job (£25 a week), I can't afford this while trying to save for a 125cc bike :( :cry:

Jordan O'C The RC hobby is almost the same as an IT job. If you want to progress in your career you have to spend money to develop and improve your skills. On the other hand, the RC world changes everyday because of the technology and keeping up with these changes can sometimes be challenging and expensive too. But its rewarding and fun at the same time. That's why I enjoy working with IT and with RC stuffs.
