My first-born child was born in a hospital-connected birth center. I had an unmedicated natural birth that I am proud of. I wanted to share my story to encourage you - we can all do hard things! If you want to try having an unmedicated birth, I think that's awesome! However, giving birth is something to be proud of no matter how it happens. Whether you have a medicated or unmedicated birth, a vaginal or a c-section birth, what matters is that you brought your baby to this earth. This is just my story. We all have our own stories.
