It is difficult to suggest one specific sport coat without knowing more about the flannel. However, I would suggest looking for a heavier wool sport coat in a grey hue or a pattern that is predominantly grey - as it is a neutral colour, it pairs well with most colours. - Also, because flannel tends to be very seasonal, look for a sport coat with a similar strong texture like corduroy, tweed, or even flannel. This will provide good warm layers and complementary textures.

@@my1928 Thank you, I do think I should have been more specific. I typically sport a black flannel, and I think a grey coat will look nice indeed. Keep doing what you're doing. I love this channel, I'm new to dressing in this style and I enjoy it very much.

Actually, flannel can be worsted or woolen. The worsted one are thinner and lighter than usual flannels which are woolen.

@@sandromatthiouz7413 I do know this. However worsted flannel isn’t really true flannel (imo). Sometimes it’s even hard to differentiate some worsted suit fabrics from worsted flannel since they are so similar. The fabric feels fluid in hand with slightly fuzzy texture. Whereas woollen flannel in proper weight feels like a carpet made for a car. I got two pairs of 350g suit trousers in worsted flannel. They have the touch but don’t look like flannel really. ÑIght and day difference compared to a pair of 350g cream flannel I have. Not to mention 450g light grey, 550g mid grey and holy 700g charcoal flannels I got.
