I live in LA and work near Anaheim. It's only a half hour away without traffic. Except there's always traffic, so yeah, you're basically stuck for an hour just to get there
Not in Anaheim (but near the surrounding city), Burger Records is a pretty cool place. Analog Records in Tustin is good too. They're like a 10-15 minute drive from Anaheim. Would've told you earlier if I knew you would be staying in Anaheim an not LA.
Anaheim is actually only like 40 minutes from Downtown LA depending on traffic, but if you're ever back in Anaheim for whatever reason you should go to Long Beach if you're looking for a get away
What did you find to eat there? I'm like an hour away from Anaheim and there are some pretty good restaurants around there. Wish I would have seen this sooner and I could have let you known
From the LA union Station you could get to Anaheim on the train pretty quickly. Probably only 30 minutes and on the weekend all it takes is 10 bucks on the metro
very cool review and video footage! I am a SW fan, but not enough to desire to attend a huge festival like that. I might feel like such a novice, even though like you, I grew up with SW (I'm 38), and at 1 point it was one of my favorite things. I guess after 4 days of SW, I might be a bit Star Wars-ed Out. I suppose also like many, my distaste for the prequels has soured my interest in the franchise a bit. Although things like *Fanboys* , *Free Enterprise* and references on shows like *The Big Bang Theory* has made up for those to a point. But JJ Abrams only mildly entertaining reboot of *Star Trek* has me only vaguely optimistic about the upcoming movies. So, I might feel like I could unintentionally step on some hardcore SW fans toes by being brutally honest in conversations there. But I can't be certain without going.
Lol I went opening day. Only went b/c a brother in law had an extra ticket. Was ok. Nothing special. Expensive but it's star wars memorabilia so what do you expect. Some vendor was selling just the package of a Star Wars action figure from the 80's for $20. Smfh.
