I recently bought a box of off air VHS tapes, intending to go through them and see what interesting bits I could find. I decided to compile the highlights of what I found in to a video. Enjoy.
I mentioned this in the first part of your Forgotten UK Kids TV Shows, and I've had no luck finding it, then again, I don't even know how and where to start looking with search terms, but I can see the segments so well in my head that it bothers me not knowing what this video was called. As for other VHS tapes we had, there was our family video, which the film for it snapped and I don't know where it went afterwards, and then there was one of mine, which had part of a recorded CBBC block with the end of a Gadget Boy episode, an episode of Smart Guy, and Blue Peter which featured Matt Baker and Simon Thomas working on the Orient Express (I believe anyway), and finally Newsround. But being that I recorded over parts, there's also a performance on CITV by S Club Junior, with the tape ending on part of a Saturday episode of Dick & Dom in Da Bungalow.
Not bad quality for VHS! I haven't been able to play any of my VHS tapes for a while now because my player is broken but I would like to watch them again at some point. Word of advice though, don't forget to remove the protection tabs if you don't want to accidentally tape over anything as happened to me a few times back in the day!😃😃😃📼📼📼
i be wondering if their are any episodes of picture box from 1989 till 1993 . which was hosted by kevin graal and roger mcgough. you don't those kind of episodes on youtube
