Glad your liking your new Escape, i got one about a month ago and like mine as well, like your set up with the on board fresh water tank and larger waste tanks, I plan on adding an onboard fresh water tank as well, I run mine off a generator as well unless i'm close enough to use the dryer outlet. Only difference is I have a little giant propane heater instead of the hot turbo heaters, you should seriously consider getting the little giant propane heater and thank me later. If nothing else it'll be less to set up and break down, and you'll never run out of hot water, I had a hot turbo, it slowed me down, you have to adjust how you clean so it can keep up, not the case with a little giant heater, if we were side by side and keyed our wands and held them open spraying water, you'd run out of hot water way way before me, in fact i'd probably not run out at all, trust me on this. you could have just about had one for the money you spent on 3 hot turbos
@@matthewyaney1579 for just over $2k you can have 150+ft of "OuickHeat" A diesel system that doubles as a Powerwasher. Runs off 15amp using extractor with generator @3circuits, uses only a little diesel and No heat loss when wand is closed. I think it's an upgrade over little giant.
I had ordered the Jaguar 8.4 , but ended up returning it it due to so many issues with it. Bad layout IMO, excessive use of defoamer, bad pump, bad vacuum motor. All within the first 40 hrs of use. I returned it and got the Escape! Huge difference! Amazing layout! Impressive pump out system, a real ETM all around! doesn’t even seem to need defoamer! Love my Mytee ETM.
I noticed you have 3 mytee turbo heat boosters. Check out my Heat Saber hose insulation tests. Saved me about 25-35F at the wand. Doesn't need any fuel or electricity. Might be able to ditch one of those mytee's.
Would you recommend buying this Mytee escape LX brand new or buying a used truckmount? I like the price for ETM and I live 30 minutes from Mytee in San Diego, just in case I need repairs
You can be down day's waiting on a truckmount to be repaired. Most of the issues I have had can be repaired in minutes with a pair of wire strippers and a flat head screw driver. Mytee is always quick to deliver parts. The only issue I have had is vac motors and that's after a year or two of everyday operation.
Working great set up cost was not very expensive. Plus no long term downtime as you sometimes have with a truckmount unit. Most issues can be repaired within a hour if you can get access to parts.
What’s the secret to getting your mytee turbo hot? I run just one off my generator and the water turns Luke warm not 180 degrees. So, I just purchased a second mytee turbo recently and waiting on it to arrive. Will I notice a significant difference?
You're probably not getting enough power to your turbo. Try doing a test by plugging it into a home socket to see if it changes in heat. If not, you probably have a faulty unit and your new one should help!
@@CrackaSource you’re correct. I purchased a second mytee turbo . I now plug both sets into opposite sockets in peoples homes and boy I have never seen so much steam!
@@matthewyaney1579 I am really afraid to run a generator to power my Etm. Currently I am 100% plugging to customer's outlets but some jobs I park little further and I use a longer extension cords which is not fun, I am thinking of putting a generator this season, how safe do you think it is?
@@matthewyaney1579 I am thinking of getting a dual fuel generator and mostly run it with propane cleaner burn and place the generator close to the back door just like yours.
That seems like a waste of time. If you use a pro cam mount you won't have to add all that extra crap to do carpet cleaning. Also your truck looks like there's no room for anything
Save yourself all the expense, setup time and hassle with hoses and use an oscillating pad machine with a peroxide boosted encapsulating product. It does a great job, especially on berber !
You have way less maintenance with the escape and you can also have a backup and pull one out and put another 1 in instead of waiting for a week for a truck to be repaired
@@matthewyaney1579 Ok i see what your saying...Maybe im looking at it on my current small business scale and two escapes alone would be pushing my budget. Thanks for the reply! I will not take away all the thought and care that went into this set up bc I was impressed.
