Sometimes when I’m alone at night and I start feeling fearful, I say “Hello?” out loud, just to convince myself that it’s all in my head. The idea of an entity only being able to hurt you if you engage with it by accident is gonna haunt me one of those times.
It reminds me of an old song that I still enjoy. "Frosti" by Bjork, or of a Dark Forest Fairy type music cd that I used to have. Oddly dark strange undercurrents yet sweet and soothing at the same time. Kind of like Enya. ( I do like Enya in small doses, So Don't ya'll come at me!)
God, this concept is sooo good... it's interesting enough to where my brain retained the concept and it appeared in a nightmare for me! This does a very good job of being unsettling and scary and I hope you're proud! I hope you have a good whatever time of day it is for you! :)
Hey, I know I’m just some random guy and my opinion is just my opinion, but I genuinely think that, in this post-Mandela Catalogue Era of Analog Horror oversaturation, your work stands out as, like, top 3 post-MC analog horror creations, right alongside Midwest Angelica.
Am i the only once who noticed how the "creatures name" markings looked like numbers? Backwards 7, a 3 hanging down from a weird head (or possibly a 5 if we include the head ajd ignore the kink in the lower curve) and a diamobd shape in the legs of the 3rd image (0) Either 730 or 750.
I think the reason you shouldn't accept anything from them is because they'll take something abstract as a price, like a cherished memory, or even the human's soul. That's where the concept of a "deal with the devil" came from.
A combination to give this user nightmares: Someone knocked on my back door a good half hour ago, meaning they were in my fenced in yard. This video. RIP to myself
Interesting video. But I have a few suggestions. One the way the video tells you what's going on should explain a bit more in detail as it feels a bit rushed. Two the way the creature was crawling out of the door should have been a bit bigger and a bit scarier. But overall, you have huge potential.
I honestly really liked creature's design. It was not just another big bad monster but something that looked much more peaceful which was why it was so unsettling to me
Try to play with the information more Don’t explain everything Leave some explanations vague or even cut them off. Leave out some info or only hint at them maybe even in the video part. Really let the viewer fill in some blanks. What are these symbols, how are they significant? Will it be back? Showing only a dark silhouette will really let the imagination of the viewer construct their own horror.
And another thing to play with is The illusion of safety Let the viewer lower their guard before you surprise them with the scary thing Some things that can give the illusion of safety are: Calming music Authority ( information delivered by a government body, anyone with a higher standing than the viewer) Feigning control (pretending like everything is under control and this is normal)
Monsters WE'RE Talking About are Various Abnormally Unnaturally Shaped Living Things That are Extremely Dangerous Organisms Which are Harmful Towards Human That are BloodThirsty and Can Destroy Mankind. Monsters That We're NOT Talking About are Monsters in The Movie "Monsters INC"
start 0:19 yee 0:33 door 0:49 window 0:52 no i will NOT OPEN MY DOOR 1:03 GET THE GOD 1:24 in reallife 1:29 yee 2 2:10 no you can’t come in 2:46 i can’t understand 3:32 i will jump out of the window 4:17 and now you know 4:26
The fact that this is kinda what i went through (instead a robber not a goofy aah fairy) AND I ALMOST OPENED THE DOOR THINKING THAT IT WAS MY DAD, THEN HE TEXTED ME HE WAS COMING HOME LATE. And there was blood on the floor making a strange marking (my neighbor saw the open door and came in with a knife, stabbed the robber) so moral of story, if an analog horror vid is kinda similarto what happened to you irl, it becomes a lot scary.
