In a 2002 appearance on the music video show "Wavelength," Noreaga talks about record labels and threatens one of his gifted peers. #NORE #Noreaga #capone #whatwhatwhat #nas #drinkchampspodcast #cnn #hiphop #cloverleafmall
You have to add mid 2000's too. Late 90's-mid 2000's hip hop, rock, EDM, reggaeton, dancehall, RnB.... Was there any genre that wasnt good at that time.
Body in the trunk is one of the best songs from the late 90's. When rappers dont beef or say dumb shit in ghetto interviews, magic usually happened in those studios
Supposedly Nore did end up having an altercation with Nas where he thru a flower pot on him. That footage would be legendary. Still waiting on that one
Nore has lightened up so much, in a good way. Happy to see him be so chill now on Drink Champs. Took a pic w him at the Nas and Wu concert, he was gracious and friendly. Whenever I hear old stories like how he shot Prodigy’s boy I always think man this guy seems like the nicest dude. Then here’s this interview, I see the hood in him 😂
@@thejudgejuror2547 People in the comments think that this is from 2008, or 15 years ago, because that’s when it was uploaded. I’m clarifying for the younger generation that doesn’t know.
Nas and Nore had a fight back then(around 2005). It's a "he say, she say" situation on who won depending on who you ask. I've heard more people say Nas apparently got the best of Nore though.
@djBangzWell if u truly believe a man who grew up in one the world's toughest projects for 20 years and never had a fight I would pay a grand for a nugget of that shit u smoking if he lost there's no way on any projects a man can grow up and not have 1 fight nore was speaking out of emotion clearly something was fuckin wit him here you can see it clear as day
@@elahosun2101 when did I say Nas never had a fight ? Reread what I said : NAS WASNT A STREET DUDE, HIS BROTHER WAS. As somebody from Rego park , I should know. Y’all fans get caught up in rap lyrics thinking everything is true. Nas wasn’t a thug.. ask anybody from Queensbridge
Man I aint seen this video since I started using RU-vid 😂 Nore was in a different space back then. Nigga aint crack one smile. This was after Nas told Nore to step his rap game up
What’s funny is that I always perceived him as a fun rapper but can get serious when need to as evidenced here. Look like Tommy Boy and Nas got him tight.
Nas would diss people for no reason. When he diss Cam'ron and Nelly one time. Cam'ron was hurt. He wA like I grew up listen to your music and know your dissing me. He's a typical virgo
This when Nas was flat out hating on other artist. He went on power 105 crying and whining the whole damn interview and dissing other rappers for no reason
Nore was depressed. Pun died. His dad died. And then Nas, a guy he revered and thought he was cool with, got on the radio and randomly called his album wack (I love you, but the album is wack). Nas went on the radio and just started calling out everyone associated with Def Jam and Roc-a-fella, but he was also in a dark place bc of his mom's situation (either dying or already passed). Nore album was mid, but Nas didn't have to volunteer that opinion about his friend's music on air. He just did it bc Nore was signed to Def Jam. Cam caught a stray just for being signed to The Roc (you're a dope lyricist, but the album is wack). This is also a little while after Nas dissed Prodigy on Destroy & Rebuild bc P was on tracks with Cormega while Mega was dissing Nas.
Usually he’s all smiles and giggles talking about slime this slime that. He must’ve been celibate or something during this time. He looks so serious 🧐 here.
I know this is old, so there's no way to add to the video, but Nore did try to fight Nas shortly after this and got beat up. Then Nore's excuse was "I'm not really a fighter. I shoot people."
Everyone was wildin back in the day. Nas said some things about Em that made me squirm. Everyone was wildin. Its good to see everyone one of the OGs have genuine love for each other now
Loved Nore and Capone the War Report was that shit straight 🔥💥💥💯💪🏻. Along with every other album they released. Nore solo album was fire his first one the second one was aiight but nothing like the First .
@@trevorjames4619 Prodigy confirmed Keith Murray was "on some spaced out shet" & last I saw Keith Murray's tweaking bumass, he was break dancing in the middle of traffic like a Rush Hour scene 😂.. Nega waved down police by sneaking Prodigy while he was strapped, right before Karate Joe knocked Keith Murray's little cousin out sleeping under a car LMAOoooo.. Snitchboy Keith got a lot of issues 🤣☠️
He might be a goofball now with Drink Champs n sh*t, but back in the day Noreaga was really about that life. Remember the story when he pulled out a ratched during a fight in Queensbridge and started blastin at people? Prodigy from Mobb Deep mentioned it in his autobiography.
