Camshaft should be released ouside in and installed inside out. I don't think it matters but it's logical since you will reduce the eventual lever the valve springs exert on the camshaft when releasing it. It it said that this can "bend" the camshaft but I doubt it.
The camshaft locking tool doesn't fit at the front, just behind the VANOS gears, it has to be at the back? When you were setting TDC, you didn't use the crankshaft locking pin? Thanks.
If you weren't aware, the audio in your recent videos is a bit broken, it only comes out of the left speaker. Is this something you could easily fix, maybe an issue in an export preset? Fine on the phone but when watching with headphones it's a bit weird :)
