I think Rapunzel is very up there- Got KIDNAPPED, used for her powers, manipulated, gaslighted, and verbal abuse(?) Like how mother gothel said "Plus I gotta say , you're getting kinda chubby" Or " I see a beautiful confident young lady, Oh look you're there too!"
@@Springbonnie150 it’s not verbal abuse until it’s being used to intentionally hurt or manipulate someone’s emotions. Mother Gothel gave her enough love that she was very hesitant to leave her while still sprinkling in enough insults and cruelty that Rapunzel would have too much self hatred to believe she could survive on her own. It’s not just about being called chubby. It’s about the motive behind it
the wallnut in pvz, don't believe me? the plant is literaly born to protect a random crazy guy, then when it goes to the blattlefield it is forced to take all the damege without any ways to defend itself and slowly gets distroyed by the zombies in an agonizing way.
the guy at 0:38 is the protagonist from the manga 'Berserk'. It's an amazing story and the MC has gone through some insane stuff. Born from a corpse, he was sold by his father figure to be r@ped as a child (age of 9) for a mere 3 silver pieces, murdered his r@pist and father figure in revenge, finally trusted someone enough to give him everything he was and that person killed all of their friends and r@ped his pregnant lover in front of him, killing their would-be child in the process. Oh, and if that’s not bad enough he gets pursued by demons every night, killing anyone he gets close to for years.
Don’t forget her faþer is dead (wait þats normal), her friends almost got in trouble because of her, Simon’s betrayal, Her Grandpa’s wish won’t come true and some oþers. Yeah þat isn’t a lot of pain compared to oþers but still some pain
@@imthebossmermaid3648Don't forget Belle (Animated or live action)! Mother died when she was very young, seen as a freak by most people in town, and spent time as the Beast's prisoner to take her father's place.
Snow White (age 14): both her parents died, her stepmom abused her and later tried to kill her twice, abandoned in a forest with no safety measures, survived death Cinderella (age 19): both her parents died, her stepmom and stepsisters abused her and used her as a servant for all her life, her stepfamily used literal time travel to take away her happily ever after and she was almost shipped away Aurora (age 16): lived without her biological parents but that’s about it Ariel (age 16): her mom died, her dad banned music forcing her to listen in music in secret, her dads overprotectivness destroyed her grotto, she almost became a slave to Ursula, watched her dad almost become a slave to Ursula, she and Eric were both almost killed by Ursula Belle (age 17): her mom died, she became ostracized from the entire town for liking books except for Gaston who keeps asking her for her hand in marriage despite her refusing every time, volunteered to be enslaved by the beast because her father was kidnapped before she knew he was nice, almost got eaten by wolves if not for the Beast, had to rescue her father from being thrown into an asylum before getting thrown into it herself, and watched the Beast die before her eyes (before he was revived) Jasmine (age 16): was made a slave by Jafar and believed that he killed Aladdin (I’m not really familiar with Aladdin so sorry if I got anything wrong) Pocahontas (age 18): her tribe almost got hunted down by white settlers, the man she loved almost died and her life irl is about a thousands times worse Mulan (age 16) was ostracized and ridiculed for not being “the perfect daughter”, she went to war disguised as a man so her father wouldn’t die in war, she almost died in said war, was left behind in a snowy forest, and almost died again fighting the villain (idr his name I’m so sorry) Tiana (age 19): worked her whole life to get her dreams, was subjected to racism (probably a lot more off screen), had to find a cure while being a frog Rapunzel (age 18-21): was kidnapped for her hair, was abused and gaslighted by Mother Gothel who she believed was her real mother, the man she loved died in her arms by her mother, mother gothel imprisoned her in her own tower after she found out she was kidnapped only for her to die before Rapunzels eyes, was freed only to feel trapped again by her overprotective father, Varian kidnapped Rapunzels mom forcing her into a war, while looking for the Moonstone she faced many near death situations only for her friend to betray her because she was mad at Rapunzel that’s not even Rapunzels fault, had to save Corona from both Cassandra and Zhan Tiri, and watched all of her loved ones died before reviving them with the Sundrop Merida (age 16): had a shaky relationship with her mom due to conflicting beliefs, had to save her mom from being a bear forever and her mom nearly did Anna (age 18, 21): both her parents died, her sister was taken away from her for reasons she couldn’t understand, was isolated her entire life causing her to be vulnerable to Hans’ manipulation, was attacked by her sister, she nearly died, watched Olaf and her sister die, and nearly died breaking the dam Elsa (age 21, 24): almost killed her sister on accident, lived her life in isolation from her sister and the world believing she was a monster, her parents died, accidentally unleashed her powers and was deemed a monster, believed Anna was dead only to watch Anna almost actually die, found out what she knew what her grandpa was a lie before nearly dying
I saw the frame with Henry Stickmin, and i felt hurt. Like actually. My heart dropped and i think i had a flashback of crying with Valiant Hero playing...
@@isaiahnoll2085 the main character of “Wish” which everyone wished was at least a good movie, but instead, Disney’s most hyped up movie in years turned out to be mid
@@UpleenSandhu If you watched the movie, you see how selfish Asha actually is. She decided to candidate for King Magnifico's apprentice not because of her own interest, but because she wants to ask him to grant her grandpa's wish. And then got offended when he denied to grant it because it's too vague, and that lead to that whole stupid conflict between the two which would've been easily solved with a small talk. Yes, the whole conflict started from her grandpa's wish. She wouldn't done the same for her mom, for her friends or anyone else.
@@tultsi93 Also most people’s wishes never get granted AT ALL. Plus þe king litteraly said þat her family’s wishes will NEVER be granted at all. I’ll actually agree wiþ Asha’d intentions being not great at first. It eventually evolved into getting people to remember þeir wishes so þey can pursue þeir wishes. I doubt þat a small talk would fix þis eiþer since Magnifico has an issue wiþ people questioning him and Asha probably wont stop until she gets her grandpa’s wish and make him happy. (I was gonna say þat makes her generous but I won’t)
@@UpleenSandhu Magnifico's completely in the right not to grant all wishes. There are wishes which are simply too vague or dangerous to grant. He witnessed a mass genocide in his home kingdom and that happened because of one bad wish, and he doens't want something bad happen again. What if someone wishes for an ethnic cleasining? Or being invisible they can stalk people? Or making someone fall in love with them against their will? Asha, that spoiled brat, doens't understand it. She and the movie treats all wishes as something harmless. People in Rosas were completely alright with that rule and were happy. (Except for one person whose point I come to next.) Giving your wish away was optional. He never threated anyone with their or someone else's life. One of her friends, Simon, looked competely different after giving his wish away and it's told directly to Asha. And yet it wasn't Simon's wish which concerned her. Nor Dahlia's. Nor her mom's. No. It was her grandpa's. Because he's paranoid and has PTSD! He's not rational. People in that condition need more information, because they feel if they don't know something, everything's going to be fall into the chaos. The boss isn't allowed to promote their employees' families. That's pure favoritism, even in real life. Otherwise everyone else might get jealous and also want their or their family member's wish to be granted. By making her revolution, grandpa's wish already came true, making Magnifico and his points being right! And people learned NOTHING, since Asha became a Fairy Godmother aka a new Magnifico! I HATE THIS MOVIE!
The black guy on all the caution signs has the worst backstory out of all of them, like bro literally slipped down the stairs, got shocked, and got his hand crushed by a machine💀
Literally Magnifico, THE VILLAIN OF THE MOVIE, has felt more pain than Asha. Like all she ever whined about is her grandpa’s wish but Magnifico has to endure all his hard work for his kingdom go down, and even his wife turned her back on him for WHAT?!
Magnifico isn't a villain. He created an utopia that's also free from any kind of danger. All while having a monthly event where he could grant anyone's wish (as long as it's not dangerous) using his own magic
I think Asha is the real villain. Like literally she makes the moral of the story “if anybody stops you from doing something potentially dangerous, defeat them, grant everyone’s darkest desires. DOWN WITH THE GOVERNMENT ALL HAIL COMMUNISM”
Snow White and Cinderella - stepmothers cruelty from jealously Anna and Elsa -their parents died, Elsa having PTSD from accidentally hurting her sister when they were little, Anna having abandonment issues from being shut out for so long, depression Luz from the Owl house - Having PTSD because of Belos Hunter from The Owl House - getting manipulated by his “father” figure and having PTSD from having found out he is a grim walker of Belos brother Elena from Elena of Avalor- Having her town being invaded by Shuriki, being trapped in a amulet for 41 years, seeing her parents getting killed right in front of her and having to find out her cousin aided in the takeover with the villain.
In my opinion, I think Perrito DOES recognize his trauma but works incredibly hard to repress it. I mean, just listen to him talking about his backstory- poor little guy sounds like he’s on the verge of tears just talking about it.
@@EternityKingdomsHeadHoncho there's also a disturbing connotation to his last stop of the map that we never got to see in the Path of Easy Solutions (or something akin ti that) referring to suicide
@@DerekukoDon't forget, the stops on his map were also deadly (the flowers for instance), they survived because Perrito could think like Perrito. Perrito knows how to survive near death situations even if he avoids thinking of them like that, that is why they could survive his map (Jack Horner, meanwhile, just had some people die and a Phoenix flamethrower to clear the path).

“Name a character that went through more pain than her” Me, an Undertale fan: Sans: During genocide, he loses his brother and no matter how hard he tries to stop the human, they will always come back until he’s dead. Asgore: He lost both of his children, then lost his wife after being forced to kill humans to free monster kind. Toriel: She also lost her children, and in genocide she is killed by a child who she tried very hard to protect. Asriel: He was fatally wounded by an angry mob while trying to fulfill his sibling’s dying wish, then turned into a soulless flower after he died. Papyrus: During genocide, even though he trusted you, and he believed you could change, you still killed him.
Alphys: Filled with the guilt of making the amalgamates. Gaster: Fell into the literal void. Chara: Suggested that humanity treated her wrong, sacrificed herself for the monsters, but plan failed. Undyne: Failed to protect her kind during genocide.
@@pendragon0905nah… even Sakura had to struggle through life. That make-a-wish-girl has basically decided she will destroy the peace of an entire kingdom because she wanted a single wish to be granted. Her existence is making the lifes of others worse. Sakura? She fought in a war as a medic. Which is pretty darn awful already.
What pain? Not getting exactly what she wants because her suggestions are a threat to the entire kingdom? Her parents telling her to stop working against the king? Even Rey Mary Sue Palpatine suffered more. Atleast she felt responsible for Chewies death for a few hours before realizing he's completely fine
you're saying that hank, who has been punched, stabbed, shot, sliced, had his jaw torn off, been brought back to life only to die again, and was in the same room as his dying friend while he could do nothing about it, hasn't gone through more pain than wish girl.
My goodness, Finding Nemo had a dark beginning. Marlin endured unimaginable loss when he lost his wife and thousands of children, leaving him to raise his only surviving son. Remarkably, if you pay close attention to the scene, you’ll see that Marlin put up a brave fight before ultimately being knocked out.
I know, it just hit me a few days ago watching the beginning of it, how emotionally brutal it is for a kids' movie. The events of the first 5 minutes alone are enough to leave a parent with permanent emotional scars. Then, years later, despite Marlin's paranoid and extreme efforts to the protect the ONE surviving member of his family apart from himself, Nemo gets kidnapped, leading Marlin on a chase that spans several days, only to leave him believing that his son is dead near the end. "Please don't go away! I don't want to forget." "I'm sorry, Dory, but I do." ... ... Yeah, Marlin is not a bad candidate for "name a character who went through more pain, I'll wait."
I had a friend ask me: "Hey do you want to watch that one movie where a guy and his wife have a whole bunch of kids, but then they're all eaten- including his wife, except for one kid who's partially disabled, but then that kid gets kidnapped?" And I go: "WOT." She replied: "Finding Nemo of course!"
Chikn nuggit: (His friends all had their own plans causing him to be lonely, then, Bezel comes up and manipulates him into destroying the fabric of reality)
Hell even the main "villain" in this movie went through more pain than her 💀 Edit: Okay so let's shut the actual fuck up here. I'm not saying that he's more of a 'hero', I'm saying that even he went through more pain than this bad excuse of a movie's hero. Good? Good. Edit 2: It's so Cl-over dude 😔🔫
@@sqi_googie Oh, lord please. Magnifico was a tyrannical narcissist only concerned with maintaining his power. He couldn't be more of a villain if he tried. As for his being the protagonist...no. Asha was the one the movie focused on. Therefore by simple definition of the term she was the protagonist.

Okay, but imagine getting burned, stabbed, limbs cut off, choked, being smashed by other objects, eyes popping out and getting tangled on trees, blended, and any other death you can think of. The worst part is that you come back alive to relive the pain the next day for all eternity. You might think I'm talking about Kenny. But you would be so wrong. I'm talking about the entire cast of Happy Tree Friends. Watch one of the many HTF episodes and tell me how they weren't on this video.
ikr? What pain Asha went through? Only thing she did was whine when she wasn't suitable for an offered job, selfishly care only about grandpa's wish, emotionally manipulate Dahlia, and cause a revolution in Rosas. And her dead father was treated like he never even existed.
@@cirnotheartist the fact that even a froggit suffered more (having to live in the underground without ever seeing the sunlight, and having to fight any human that enters) is wild.
Every amalgamate, which is a total of hundreds of individual monsters right there (I can't imagine being constantly between life and death is very comfortable).
Master chief literally got kidnapped at 5, pushed into a program that decided his entire life tragectory, lost nearly all his friends to war, felt guilt for any soldier who died by his side, lost Cortana 3 times, and has PTSD. Bro went through more pain than a lot of characters in fiction.

So agreed on Grunkle Stan. I mean, he went through the grief of: being deemed a worthless buffoon, being disowned by his own family, becoming a runaway, becoming an outlaw as a direct result and, worst of all, the brother he once was close-knit to now hates his guts and held a grudge towards him for a solid decade. Then, even worse, they have one final argument which ended with Stan accidentally sending Ford into another dimension, and the rift between them became even worse with their relationship being in a horrid, piteous state. Not to mention that when the twins found out what he was hiding from them, his relationship with them came this close to getting strained as well. It's little wonder Stan came off as bitter in some occasions when you get to know all the heartache he went through. The heartbreak in his voice and face when he asked Mabel if she really thought that he was bad... damn...
Exactly. I also think Dipper should be mentioned too. Poor kid got bullied in childhood, got turned to wood got freaking POSSESSED by Bill and had to go through apocalypse @@diegodubber2140

pretty much all the ninja have gone through more pain than her Kai and Nya both lost their parents at childhood and were forced to work for their kidnappers just to get them back individually, Kai lost his sister at one point and then lost his powers and felt useless for a good part of the season and was forced to betray his friends to make sure a plan worked, Nya had to merge with the sea and couldn't touch land because she'd just fall apart if she wasnt in contact with water for too long Cole lost his beloved mother due to an illness and his father tried forcing him to become a dancer at one point (though they made amends later on) but was then tortured in a way by the Skull Sorcerer and forced to duke it out alone in the middle of a gigantic cave system under a mountain for a short amount of time, not to mention the fact that he was turned into a ghost and was just barely able to become human again Zane lost his memories completely, figured out he was a robot and his father died, then was brought back to life and forced to work for them, then he died again at some point and sacrificed himself, tearing him apart before being rebuilt with his memories wiped yet again, found out the love of his life was scrapped as well, trapped in an alternate dimension, forced under the control of a forbidden spell for decades yet again with his memory wiped (jesus, zane can never catch a break with his memory being wiped) Jay didnt know he was adopted until he was in his late teens, figured out he was actually the son of a very popular actor, watched Nya die before being resurrected by a time reversal, watched the other ninja die in a video game before they were also resurrected, had to compete with Cole for Nya at one point because of a machine saying Nya and Cole would fit better as a match, and was once turned into a snake and then Lloyd you pretty much summed up

Shadow's pain was seeing his best friend get shot right in front of him, discovering that he was nothing but a weapon of pure mass destruction to be used, getting hit with the classic "Are my memories real?" and most off all, probably was supposed to end the world alongside Black doom. Yet he's still someone who cares about the world and it's people, in Maria's words "Give them a chance to be happy!" Wish made me want to die. I actually thought i was gonna like the characters, specially Asha's character writing at some times.
