In this video, we visited the Teenage Engineering booth to a get a first-hand look at the ultra-portable wireless OP-Z 16 track multitimbral synthesizer labeled as ‘the little monster.’ Expanding the line of Pocket Operators, the OP-Z is an all-in-one step sequencer and performance box featuring full sequenceable parameter locks, is capable of video synthesis, has wireless capabilities with Bluetooth MIDI, and introduces a new technology they are calling step components. Teenage Engineering describes the OP-Z as supporting 'dual domain synthesis with an equal focus on video and audio creation.'
