@@Wxtst.3 now when did I say that? There are plenty of emotional moments that aren't cringey. Most of them aren't. This video is very cringey. I love that you put words in my mouth 😍
@Leon Barnett You're right. Players like Garbina Muguruza, Genie Bouchard, Sloane Stephens, Madison Keys, to name a few, are very talented and show lots of potential to go further in their careers, but only time will tell.
after watching this video for the 15th time, i now clearly understand why Naomi doesnt what to speak to the media, she is really a great athlete and she clearly felt and understood what Coco was feeling after her defeat.
@@malikfo1941 think about it.. you’ve been on a role in a sport beating players that maybe you shouldn’t probably be beating.. and then you just get stop dead in your tracks by the #1 player… Bih I would be distraught🤣🤣 and plus Tennis is a mostly mental sport.. so they go in thinking they are gonna win every point/ every match!
The part where she said she don't want to seem like she's taking a way her shine because she showing emotion has mee in such Awe. The support & sisterhood behind this is soo beautiful. I'm crying so hard. I wish both parties nothing but the best♡♡
What a touching moment and such incredible sportsmanship. I don't know much about Coco but it looks like she has a ton of potential. As for Naomi, no matter who you are a fan of you have to admit that she is one of the sweetest, most humble tennis players in the world.
Naomi is just the best just the best what does she lose or win she just the best Coco has better sportsmanship than Serena when Serena lost she just tried to destroy me here's a young girl Coco says I don't want to take anything away from her spotlight of her winning Serena when she lost to and on me that was the most terrible sportsmanship that I seen in my life tops to you Coco for giving Naomi's spotlight top so you know me for standing by Coco
Naomi is one of the sweetest, humble and kind soul that ever played the game. She would never hurt a soul even in victory. I will always come to her defence if ever anyone talks bad about her.
The captions read, "no I think it's better 'that' you're going into the shower and crying" when what Naomi actually said is,"no I think it's better "than" going into the shower and crying." Big difference. Too bad for the hearing disabled that they got it exactly backwards. Hope a clarification matters to deaf people who rely on text. What Naomi did for Coco was straight from the heart and completely selfless.
You're very welcome! I love and admire these two young ladies so much. Their all heart. Watching this makes the world feel like a better place to live. Respect for their parents as well.
JohnMacedoJr: Without the benefit of an on-screen translator speaking in sign language simple logic dictates that your claim that those with an inability to hear, 'never got confused for a moment by the mistake' is a claim that's baseless and patently false. So far 127 people agree with me. That means 127 people disagree with you. By the way your snide undertone won't succeed in forcing me to conform to politically correct speech. Nice try
How can someone look at the end of this video and not support what Naomi Osaka is doing in relation to athletes who are defeated at a game and having to face the press. Show your love for Naomi Osaka ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"ill talk when i win, not when i lose" isnt a mentality that should be instilled in anyone wanting to be a productive human being..that would NEVER work anywhere in working class America..ive seen people talk on the news after losing thier jobs or being laid off...not losing at a game..
@@jorisw.6233 😂😂😂 Been watching for a few decades though. I guess too much hindsight and exceeding (players') strength aren't good for some of us anymore.
Osaka, you are a champion human being. I remember her humility last year from the Serena game. All round great for tennis and role model. Hope you stay fit and play for many years.
These two amazing athletes and beautiful human beings can tell that been raised within very good families with love, respect, hard work and not BS that has invaded lots of American families, big difference! Coco and Naomi are amazing examples of youth!
@samuel moore 1st of all your post is almost impossible to read due to lack of punctuation and sentence structure. If English is not your 1st language I understand. Secondly, why write in all caps? And, you are just copying and pasting on each comment thread.
What a very wonderful model to not only young people but to many adults that both these young women have displayed here. They both displayed maturity and humility normally attributed to people beyond their years. This really raises my hope for our humanity. Such an inspiration. Thank you Naomi and Coco!!!
So young yet Coco's concession speech was amazing she lost yet her speech was so humble, graceful and poised...what an achievement she made it to the Australian open at only 15 yrs old! You have beaten seasoned adult tennis championship at only 14 yrs old...hold your head up high, you are a true champion!
I'm not into sports, but Naomi has me down this rabbit hole. Such a genuine sweetheart. She's always showing such respect and kindness. To me, that kindness is the best skill anyone can have. A kind heart is so difficult to retain and nurture, but she (along with Coco who was worried about taking her spotlight away) both have it. Nothing but love to these two.
Naomi Osaka *refuses to do press after a loss cause she feels bullied by the journalists Also Naomi Osaka *bullying a 15 year crying girl to give an interview in front of full stadium after she just bageled her
I came here to say the same thing after seeing the Osaka series on Netflix. She pressured Gauff into joining her doing the interview to take some of the spotlight off of her because she's so dull, even though Gauff was deeply upset and just wanted to get off court. Terrible and selfish behaviour.
Naomi has such a kind and beautiful soul I hope she knows that she has inspired so many people out there to bring out the kindness within ourselves and to spread love to other people. She acts so maturely and never fails to amaze me with not only her talent but also her shining personality. Naomi, we love you so so much and we are proud of you always!
Osaka embodies everything you can think of Japan. Man those guys are super humble and selfless and it's refreshing to see that you can be strong and kind at the same time
Viva Japan, viva humility, just watch Japan football in world cup tournament, u just have to appreciate these guys, I am from Africa but one day I want to visit Japan.
Never mind the score, I wish Naomi all the best in the world, they’ll be many more Grand Slams for her. Coco, what can I say? She’s going to be a force to be reckoned with!! 👏🏆🎾
This is one of a few video clips I revisit when I want to relilve some wholesome tennis! These two women are amazing. I hope to see Naomi Osaka return to tennis, but if she doesn't I wish her the absolute best
Coco is incredible and Naomi is just what all humans should be! Humility is the best quality a human can have and both these girls have tons of it. It’s amazing to see this. What a moment in sports history! Thanks girls and thanks to your parents who raised you perfectly! 💙
@Mike Carter Thanks mate. Reality is when ones genuinely feel it, this word appears not be a problem whether it is overheard or overused. Above all, there's no point to complicate how ones feel. ;)
To be kind and gracious is worth more than all the money and fame in the world. The true hallmark of a pure soul. Thank you Naomi for reminding us of who you really are.
This moment with Naomi is now officially historical and it was foreshadowing that Coco's first Grand Slam win would be at the U.S. Open. Congratulations Coco!
The essence of not forgetting where you came from and who was there with you!!! This was amazing of her she so fucking down to earth and I hope she stays that way!!
These athletes are incredible and classy. I have a great appreciation for what they did out there. Hard work, Integrity and respect! They were raised right.
I just want to thank the both of you because you’ve done so much for tennis! But not only that you show to the world that there is only one key to make dreams come true and it’s called HARD WORK! It’s been a long time I didn’t cry like that, so thank you for being who you are and inspiring me
@reality check Because who else would do what Naomi Osaka would do? NO ONE. NO ONE in the tennis world would do what Naomi Osaka would do for Coco. Think about it? Every single tennis player is super self-centered EXCEPT Naomi Osaka. This is the FIRST time something like this happened so yeah...BEST MOMENT BY FAR of the tournament.
This rare show of compassion and unselfishness by these 2 young athlete ladies of color is What Makes America Great, no matter how much some people want to deny it. This civilization, equality and fairness is part of our evolution, We as a people can never go back to how it was 50 or 100 years ago. People from all color, race and nationality must learn to live together. Welcome to the 21st Century America and World, thank you Naomi and Coco.
Franklin NJ,This presentation of TRUE Sportsmanship, by Naomi and CoCO is what America is TRULY about, DIVERSITY and INCLUSIVITY. trump the racist , uneducated, lying grafter is dividing and destroying our nation daily and is too EVIL to acknowledge what the U>S> stands for. VOTE BLUE in 2020, and get the vermin racist garbage and his racist administration and family OUT OF OUR WHITEHOUSE.
These two show what sport at its best is all about - incredible discipline and application of self, talent, combined with grace and class of the highest order. Bring on this new generation of tennis stars for the old fogies like me to cheer on in the next decade!!!!
@@innercircle341 It actually take a great amount of maturity to cry. Hiding your emotions and not allowing yourself to feel them is the most immature thing of all. Have fun being a cold hearted man!
@@innercircle341 Are you kidding? She’s 15 years old, emotions were running high. Displaying her emotions while not acting like a sore loser IS maturity.
Really wish world leaders and political leadership across the world see these moments from these two amazing women from Japan and US and learn to STOP wars of all kinds and work together to make the world a better and happy place ...
Both ladies are classy on and off the court (good parents on both sides). I love that Coco said " I don't want people to think I am trying to take this moment away from her. She deserves it." I think people need to quel their expectations and remember that Coco is only 15 and has a long career ahead.
