versus Serena threatening to "shove a ball down an official's throat"....then not apologizing for this, when she obviously was harassing/intimidating an official. Sorry Serena, if you want respect, you must also give it.
Impossible, They are going to change her. Once you start receiving money from those bloody sponsors they instantly begin to dictate how you eat, talk, smile, who you should be seen withyou etcetera.
My PE teacher once told me if you wanna see a real character of an athlete see it during the match. Especially when they're losing or under pressure. This applies to any sports.
Serena has the same pattern of attitude when things don't go her way, which defines her true character. The evidence is all over youtube for you to enjoy "serena angry moments". The difference in attitude between Naomi and Serena when underpressure/losing is like heaven and hell.
Naomi is so goofy n cute. How can anyone not like this girl and happy she won?… we need more people like this down to earth and is a real champion and in their personality as well. She is so humble and well manner person for someone that age. Go Naomi !!!
@Blacks_Have More_Fun as a Haitian I feel so offended People like you make me disgusted like if you haven't been there don't judge it I swear people like you say this because y'all always see the bad side if Haiti on T.V.
Blacks_Have More_Fun on a sidenote every country has good and bad people if you live in such a perfect country do me a favour and do not have kids on an evolutionary basis never have kids . jst write a mean comment on youtube while taking a shit in your mama's basement .
OK, so her US Open win - with all that controversy - might have left some questions in some people's minds... BUT her gutsy, thrilling Australian Open win... there can be NO more questions now. She is awesome.
How dare Serena call the umpire a "THIEF". The only thievery I saw from this match was Serena stealing the happiness and joy from Naomi's first grand slam moment of joy.
Naomi because of your class act and humility you earned so much respect from people around the world. You are now the darling in the tennis match championship.
Yeah Ikr! I’m not a ball kid but I can really imagine what it would be like to be one, having to run around collecting balls in the heat. It always seems like tennis players just take ball kids for granted
At the Australian Open 2019 has anyone noticed that Naomi took her empty water bottles to the rubbish bin after every match? To me, it’s very Japanese. A lovely girl.
People underestimater her. 1. She's bubbly and can be shy 2. She's got good manners 3.Shes cute and young But you forget... SHE'S A BEAST ON THE COURT!
Consider how Serena acted in that match, and how gracious and genuine Naomi is, and what she stands for, I think only non-tennis fans could criticise her withdrawal in Paris. She is the epitome of sportsmanship and the best thing in women's tennis today.
At 1:33 even as she starts the tournament director behind her is smiling and laughing. Her innocent awkwardness, genuineness and humility will put a smile on everyone's face. BEST acceptance speech ever!
I think she had lots to say at her US Open victory & win over the crowd but sadly it didn't happen. I hope God has other plans for her. Love you Naomi.
She remains humble, shy and gracious, most of the attitude of a genuine Japanese woman. From her father, she's got the strongness and tallness to be a good tennis player and a champion.
Naomi Osaka will be a reminder that some Greats have not shown up to the party yet. She will be highlighted in the sport even beyond people before her.
A BIG THUMBS UP! Racket TV Nice compilation of Naomi's simple, lovey, sweet, cute, adorable comments, words, speeches and interviews. She exemplifies the simply warm, caring, lovely, sweet, genuine woman she must be. The first time i saw this young lady, Naomi, play, it became obvious to me she will become a star. The first time i heard Naomi speak, it added to my appreciation because of her genuine, warm, caring, lovely, sweet ways.
This lovely beautiful and adorable lady is in the finals of the Australian open against kvitova. If Naomi wins this Saturday she will be world number 1! Good luck and I wish you to win Naomi! Go go Naomi!!!
Because of Osaka, I stay up till midnite California time to watch the Australian Final to the end. I just love to watch her play, especially from the baseline, so relentless and of course her humble, genuine personality.
This sweet and absolutely adorable Naomi stole the hearts from EVERYBODY AROUND THE WORLD. We cannot wait to see her playing again. Naomi, you just became the utmost sweet tennis player.
Make no sushi about it Osaka is a competitor. She tests her resolve against her tennis heroes as a benchmark for personally rating her skills on the world stage. Osaka was rated #7 when she won the US Open and with the win at the 2019 Australian Open she moved all the way to 1st. What an adventure! And she's fun to watch off court but on the court she's a dragon scorching her volleys deep into her competitors court playing with the corners. She'll be fun to watch for quite awhile and I didn't have a favorite female player till now.
She is the first person I have known and really felt like I relate to on a very personal level. She is very authentic, pure and genuine in everything she says and does which makes her stand out. She also seems like a very shy and introverted person, so maybe thats why I relate to her so much because I am exactly the same.
I can never ever forget the way Serena Williams behaved on the occasion Osaka won the US Open finals. I can never forgive Serena for not letting the young Osaka savour the joy of winning the trophy. It's a real shame on the part of Serena champion though she is.
Totally agree with you. Now imagine you are Osaka and the person you most admired in tennis just stole your biggest moment. Some things are not unforgivable, but they are not forgettable.
What cool player and all class. Thanks for the hard work of her parents to get her this far in challenging sport. Go Naomi, Go you are a champion!!!!!!!!
