Today you join us leaving Dutton Mile where we leave our friends and head back past Anderton boat lift towards winsford.
We would soon regret staying on the weaver as the lift broke and we got stuck!

Your vlogs are great. Don't compare yourself to others. That opening was splendid. I get tired of the ones that seem scripted and over edited or rehearsed. I'd rather see reality as it happens. You're a big prize in a small package. Stay safe and well.

Hi Helen & Tony, Looks like you had a good time with Paul, Anthony and Heidi. I agree with you on their work that they put in is excellent. You're not doing so bad yourselves! My partner and I have met Paul and Anthony a few times and are great to get on with. Nice to see the wildlife around there and good views of the river weaver. Captain Bruce seems to be enjoying it. Never forget that it is yours and Tony's life and your choice how you live it. Some people expect narrowboats to be done up to their fantasies! Cruising, vlogging and editing is more than enough without faffing around with plants and flowers unless that is what YOU want. I watch you because I love your energy, your bubbly sense of humour and your honesty - please never change just to please others.

Thanks for taking us further on your River Weaver adventure, I can understand that you didn't want to leave, as Anthony said the same, you and Tony do really well with great footage of your journeys and wildlife (even if you don't know what they're called, lol). The diving bird isn't a duck it's a Great Crested Grebe which dives under the water to hunt for fish and the bird in the tree is a Grey Heron, it's great to see that you three are well. Hi guys. Well Helen how did you do with the Steak and Ale recipe? or are you waiting to get some nice Angus or Dexter beef. Thanks for a lovely vlog ,I see you like wild flowers ,here we have masses of Lupins in all sorts of colours. They spring up on any spare piece of land I picked some seed pods so now have a nice show by our cottage...want another of my recipies? What's your favourite dishes or types of food? . The bird you were on about is a "Great Crested Grebe". There's also a "Little Grebe".

I have family still in Barrow and we visit each year, (Can't take the North out the girl, lol.) I have a friend who comes from Carlisle who lives down here also. Lovely vlog Helen with some stunning shots a the beginning. As we know editing can be a pain…..especially just using iMovie. Don’t think I’ll be having plants on my boat either cos I’m definitely not green fingered🤣. Only got 2 weeks left in the house now…….absolutely sh1tting myself to be be honest. Watching you all on here confirms I’m gonna be ok though x

A lovely intro with the waterside views and music. You're getting good at this vlogging lark Helen and Tony. I agree with what you said about Heidi, and the two lads. You did say at the start of this venture that you were going to start selling Forget me not plants. I guess you forgot. The ducks do what ducks do. Was it a Great crested Grebe? They fly underwater. I wonder if they close their eyes? I hope you got to eat your cake before the use by date expired. See you next week.

I've just walked those very paths this morning. Lovely area to Walk.🙂 Was surprised to see where Forget me Not was moored 🤔 Theres paths from there that take you into Marbury Park and also up to Nuemans Flashes. Lovely peaceful area.

Yea they are. We can’t be on time with vlogs as it’s a society risk plus we get too many people knocking on the boat. It’s not wise to have everyone knowing where you are when you live at the side of the canal. No vloggers are upto date. It’s a shame that not everyone os nice like you x

No we’ve been on the weaver for 9 weeks and got stuck then had to be shipped off the Manchester ship canal. Did 4 days travelling back x
