It's crazy to think how many brothers have been gunned down because of hear-say. Nobody talks to each other, they just let it build and build and build until somebody dies. These guys know their position and that millions look up to them whether they like it or not. I hope this message gets to those that need it.

I thought the song was dope! I loved the beat, I loved the message and what the record stood for like you said. In a day and age where so many rappers are dying and beefing, this was a record that brought unity to the culture. I loved Nas flow and I liked the new school style that 21 brought to it as well. This is what hip hop is about!

I think the main purpose of the song from Nas was to lead by a good example and let people know that it's better to focus on what truly matters in life. That's why it's also very short in length, no special syllables or lyricism; it was only intended to spread positivity. That's my perspective on this one.

Nas being irrelevant in hip-hop is like Michael Jordan being irrelevant in the game of basketball.
@veganerchickennugget
@veganerchickennugget Год назад
Well what 21 said was true but obviously he didn‘t mean to disrespect Nas. If you look at the numbers, there are many more „relevant“ artists than Nas, that doesn‘t mean he is worse than them. Nobody was questioning his skill and impact on so many rappers, but in terms of sales and mainstream attention 21 was right: Nas nowadays has loyal fan base, but isn‘t that relevant (for the mainstream) anymore
@bowling4clarity817

This is not the type of song I wanted to comment on but I want you guys to see this I’ve been watching all of your guys videos especially on new age rappers, from 2022 then the last year basically a lot of your videos on songs I like from over the years and you guys can’t go into a song thinking these new age rappers are gonna spit bars and have insane lyrics you gotta understand they aren’t master lyricists, they can have some good lines that make you say ouu okay that was nice but it’s all about the sound, the flow and the way it makes you wanna bump back and forth and it’s something you can bump a lot, idk if I could listen to something that’s all Insane lyrics all day everyday and I like listening to alot of lyrical rappers but I also want to listen to something that can make me turn up and I think that’s where you guys go wrong cause I really enjoy your videos and how you break down lyrics but the hate on these artist for not having crazy bars is wild you guys should go into these songs knowing that it’s not gonna be crazy lyrics and that it’s gonna be something you can enjoy especially the flow, the sound and something you guys can bump in the whip or the gym or just when your chilling in the crib but I think you guys should just keep that in mind when listening to these new rappers
