This song made me love the movie Tenet by Christopher Nolan it like watching this concept Nas used but in a movie and then mixed it and then it connected at the end
NaS is just a fabulous story teller. The details are just phenomenal, the Stevie & AC/DC references is just magnificent, as you know Rock fans have for a long time played records backwards for certain sound or satanic codes and Stevie Wonder music is so pure and opposite.
His visual paintings are so accurate. For those of us who been there and lived it, it gives literal flashbacks and goosebumps. J.Cole said it best. “ my friends heard words, it was pictures I saw”
I’m BLOWN AWAY you guys covered him at all. But the actual breakdown of his methods and thoughts is absolutely stunning. He will always be my number one
If you like visuals and story telling you should check out Lupe Fiasco. He is a super underrated legend. Check out Precious Things from his new album. His catalog is deep and there are a lot of gems to collect. Great reaction!
Props for the review! I believe Large Professor produced this track, who Nas rapped on a track named live at the BBQ in 90 or 91 can't remember he was a young teen. The concept is very unique for this Nas song. If you like story telling do some slick rick and biggie tracks. They tell very visual stories like you are right there. You guys love fitness do some DMX tracks. Every time I workout DMX gets me so amped and I want to push even harder. His energy and voice. There are so many tracks of his to mention and Nas to react to. I would have to think and respond back, or edit this with a list.
Oh wow! New channel. I love getting in when channels are new. I'm a hip hop historian. If y'all are new to the genre that's the cool part. If you will be taking requests I have tons. The Pharcyde has a video that goes in reverse called "Drop " I would love to see a reaction to that.
@@barsandbarbells2022 Stop messing around.....if you want likes, do NAS "I gave you power" I wont spoil it for you but its a deep & real life story. Poetry at its finest
You guys are super contagious! Great song choice, too. Just an idea, but if you've never heard of the artist, AFRO....check out his song called Definition of a Rap Flow. Bars for days!!!!
The “this is Nas leave it, peace “ is part of the story. It means the act of getting back at the person they are looking should stop. The whole story actually does not happen!
Correction "this is Nas leave it, peace" part is the voicemail recording on his home phone *notice the 2 beeps..the story does indeed happen, hence why he ends up putting on his black shirt and they pick him up
If you're going to get into beef tracks with her.. You should have her listen to Pusha vs Aubrey. Story of Adidon is definitely top 5 disses of all time!

16 mins - but you couldnt finish the song. You're girl must hate you bro. Friendly advice - let her hear one verse discuss - play the whole song - discuss. You then can run it back - Edit down your videos anything more than 10 mins for MOST 4 min songs is crazy. 16 mins is fine for this song as its layerd but mansplaining/rapsplaing is a little strong - great content tho!
