After a whole lot of NASCAR Thunder 2004 content, it's time for something a little bit different. Today, we're going to check out the PC version of NASCAR Arcade Rush. It was developed by Team6 Game Studios and published by GameMill Entertainment, which automatically means that it's shovelware. But this game is not your average shovelware, it's Nintendo Wii-style shovelware. Think about it: it's a cheaply made kart racing game that's using a well known company's license, and it's overpriced at retail. A concept straight out of 2009 brought up to the modern day. It's the perfect setup for something that's truly memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.

5:29 It's because they based the track on the nearby Watkins Glen State Park, nicknamed the Grand Canyon of the East. I know since I've been there. And yes it does look like something out of a Zelda game

The only positive thing I've heard about this game is that on one of the steam reviews some guy had a problem with HDR and the colors washing out and the devs actually responded and fixed the issue, shame that the game itself is just so empty.

Oof you know when you see that this game was made by Team6 is a BAD sign... these are the same fuckers that made a game with the most negative reviews on Steam... FlatOut 3. And this really shows.

If this game wasn't developed by team 6, then it would have been decent. You can check out nascar unleashed if you like, since that is better.

And I thought purchasing NASCAR Kart Racing for $20 was questionable. (I just checked and IGN apparently rated it 7.4/10... somehow.) I also like how they took the Phoenix Lights and completely ran away with it. As far as I'm aware Area 51 is still located in Nevada, which is some distance from Phoenix!

yeah fix the price point and the physics and you'd have a fun lil distraction game for when you want to turn off your brain, but they did none of that here.....

Just watching the physics is giving me second hand rage. It seems like the car is on the edge of grip when you make a turn (which is good for sense of speed and control on fast turns but probably not shallow ones), and I don't know your inputs, but it looks like if you tap the brakes you gain an insane amount of grip, which would probably cause the player to avoid touching them all together. AND THE JUMPS AND WALLS!!! I mean sure, the walls they probably were able to avoid with their knowledge of the physics, but still, hitting the wall and it either sending you 90-180 degrees in the direction you're supposed to be going is really stupid and too punishing, plus the jumps not compensating for the car facing 90 DEGREES TOWARDS THE GROUND (wtf on that end, I mean put a cap on the rotation of the car) is just stupid, plus the car coliding with the track geometry on Darlington, did they even have any basic playtesters!?!? For $60 I could probably get a kart racer that handles way better than this game. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk

This game is just a worst version of Cruisn Blast for the Nintendo Switch. I say that because it was also made by GameMill alongside Raw Thrills who makes great actual arcade games at Dave & Busters and other arcade centers. Plus the gameplay feels similar except the track design is different and there is NASCAR branding and this game is way more empty feeling compared to Crusin Blast.
