Faith Watkins Heavenly Father yes yes yes yes yesssssss thank you Heavenly Father for letting us enjoy these three ladies you created what a blessing here on Earth so my goodness what's happening up in heaven😃
I hope they are..,we don’t know where people went after they died...unless u went therewith them....but I guess heaven is the popular choice. It’s strange how every body that die...is “in heaven”. Wherever he is...I hope she’s at peace
Natalie NEVER got any send off when she died. She passed on New Year's Day 2016. Never a brou ha ha or the big send off Aretha is getting now. Natalie really deserves more.
I always loved how Natalie Cole enunciates every single word when she sings, just like her dad Nat King Cole did when he sang, because you can understand every word... She sounds great...
Natalie Cole was the won that Broke Aretha Franklin's 9 year winning streak for Best Female Vocalist. Aretha won all 9 uears ujtil Natalie came and she won for This Will Be and the next year for Sophisticated Lady
When the press asked Aretha what she remembered most about this tribute to her, she said Natalie’s performance of “Call Me” because it reminded her of her sister Carolyn. Carolyn wrote that song for her. Natalie sung her heart out with total sincerity and heart. You could feel the love. There is no auto tune!!! She and Aretha been ended that bad press from the past pitting them against each other. In fact, Aretha and Natalie were planning to duet but both got ill and transition before it happened. She also mentioned the duet she and Smokey did during the tribute... I know they are both up in heaven singing daily around the Masters throne!! Rest In Power Queens. Your voices are truly missed down here on Earth!
As heart warming as that sounds, and wonderful comment, really. But Aretha wrote Call Me when she was in the park and saw a couple conversing. When the girl said, 'Call me when you get home" Aretha got the idea for the song.
Nobody goes to heaven, man. When you die, that's it. Many people do not want to accept it, but that is the way it is. It is called the cycle of life. Natalie was a hell of a singer. I like her duet with her father in Unforgettable. They are both unforgettable.
@Spanish lessons YOU NEVER BEEN 9 DEEP IN HEAVEN ?! 🤣😂 seriously heaven or hell is a state of mind. No more or less. I'm with you it's not a physical location to go to. "My father's house has many mansion" aka the body (temple of life) has many estates to reside in. It's up to us which one we pick. That's what most theology and psychology is trying to express. You pick your state of being. But most ppl are tossed back and forth by circumstances and emotions and end up in mental/emotional hell because they aren't "The master of their vessel" or they aren't their own savior. Truth sets free and truth is WE ARE WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR but science religion and the world got us looking in the sky in a book or in between legs searching for a state of being we can willingly achieve independent of money man sky daddies etc.
Natalie's voice was so silky smooth. Like gliding thru velvet. Watching her and Aretha at the same show is another sad reminder all the musical greats are disappearing.
Natalie Cole was unique she not only sang music she both studied and mastered it. Her understanding of many musical genres was breathtaking! And her delivery of muses was phenomenal. Some singers do. this and some singers do that, but what set. Natalie apart was that She Did It All! And did it Beautifully.
Life is so very precious if we only really know that one day we all have to take that road of death I'm so hurt and heartbroken right now!!! Rest in Paradise Ms. NATALIE COLE very classy woman no matter what she did in her life ... she is and was one of a kind:,(
I remember seeing her on tv when she was 12 yrs old, with her Daddy. She said she wanted to be a singer when she grew up. I thought she was so cute. I was in high school.
Happy Birthday Natalie! It is sad to watch this. Both you and Aretha are gone now. Two very talented singers who should still be in this world. But I am greatful for what you and Aretha left behind. All that music! Thank you!!! I love you and her very much and I will never forget you nor her. PS you sang the hell out of this song! I didn't think no one could top the Queen of Soul!
I love this song. One of my favorites by Aretha! I didn't think anyone could sing this song better, but Natalie comes close. Only close! Today is Aretha's 77th Birthday and Happy Birthday Dear Lady. It is sad watching this because both you and Natalie are gone. And you both are so missed!!!!!
Natalie left 4 years ago today. I cannot help but feel a great deal of sadness when I watch this. She and Aretha are both gone and the world is sadder for it. You will not hear voices like this ever again! And yes Natalie knocked it out of the park! Only Aretha could do that!
NOBODY HAVE I SEEN THAT CAN GRACE AND BLESS THE STAGE AS SWEETLY AS QUEEN NATALIE COLE! HER PRESENCE IS SWEET! HER HEART IS SWEET! HER SOUL IS SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE TO THE QUEEN OF SOULs! 😊😊💕🎶💯
Natalie you are the only singer next to Aretha who could do this song justice. Happy 70th Birthday! I know that is some party up in heaven you d Aretha, and your dad are jamming all over the place! I wish I could see the three of you. Miss you girl!
Not quite. She more or less invokes Aretha more than anything. Esp Aretha in her prime. Was so sad when bothe passed on. Left us a wonderful catalog of music
This brings tears to my eyes...I adored both of them...RIP Natalie and Aretha..Voices like theirs can never be replaced...Heaven has some sweet music going on...
MY FAVORITE SINGER NATALIE COLE LOOKING BEAUTIFUL AND LOOKING SO HEALTHY 🤗🤗👍👍❤️😘 STILL MISSING YOU QUEEN AND I HOPE YOU ARE AT PEACE 😥😥 REST WELL ANGEL 🙏🙏
I always loved Natalie and Aretha. Natalie owned this song on that evening. I saw her in concert only once, in Seattle. I will never ever forget this diva.
A truly talented versatile singer who has been successful in many musical genres....She has outsold many of her contemporaries for a reason...the lady has more than a voice, it's her whole sophistication and personality that makes Natalie shine above most. The first four album of Natalie's as well as her Live album will make you remember that before her Jazz, she was throwing down on the R&B music.
3-15-24. NATALIE Had never heard you perform Aretha’s Call Me. WOW. The clarity of your notes. Oh La La. You put the R E S P E C T in Aretha’s CALL ME ❤️
Happy 80th Birthday Aretha! Wish you were still here but I know Natalie and all the other are at your party up there and you are having a blast! God Bless you girl!
Natalie Cole always sang Aretha Franklin Songs starting with You on her 1975 Debut Album to the Grammy Nominated Performance of Day Dreaming from the Leaving Album
she has a genius voice.... we all know it so why the auto tune???????? praise to the skill and natural talent in Natalie's voice! this auto tune should vanish quickly.
Aretha was the most difficultest to please , even Frantasia’s amazing performance serenading her didn’t please her, maybe she thought no one was worthy for her music, but Natalie she was greatest ❤️❤️❤️
Such an elegant and classy singer with a phenomenal voice now in heaven singing the wonderful melodies with her father, Nat King Cole, that only the two of them could create. Rest In Peace Natalie -- Always remembered & definitely never forgotten.
One Of My Favorite Songs That I Love and the person that is singing it I love even more.... I miss you aunt natalie ....The music World misses you and is sad without you.... What a voice !!! your music lives forever in my heart
When we take our final walk on this earth, close your eyes and imagine the Choir that our lord and Saviour has put together. Standing at the gates of Heaven singing to all the New Comers that's awaiting...Oh What a Happy Day That will be.
Kenya Moore looks like she shares the same DNA as the late Natalie Cole both women are beautiful Maybe they are related. . Its amazing how celebrates look alike. Did you'll peep Aretha sitting there like looking like a Madame glaring at Natalie.
