Disagree. your comments seem to suggest Nate is just a journey man from the slum - which is way off the mark. You even followed his career? Check his fight CV. Nate is easily one of the most gifted grapplers in his divisions, and pretty much invented his own form of unorthodox striking. As to his genetics, his rangey physique & reach is suited to his game. Although His overall physical development and ultimate performances, were most likely held back by questionable diet and training philosophies. I agree his unique personality adds to his fan appeal, but can’t help wonder what he would have achieved with a different approach to physical preparedness and more strategic management.

Nate is different breed man, The epitome of a dude that won’t quit. Nate fought a young , extremely dedicated young boxer, in boxing years Jake is inexperienced but he’s surrounded by a extremely high level coach’s and the best Strength & Conditioning money can buy for a few years now. He has obviously accelerated his learning curve dramatically. That’s pretty much how I felt the fight would turn out. That said when Nate fought years ago Vs Micheal Johnson @155 then called out Mcgregor he was fast and moved so much quicker, agile and crafty kid , that Nate Diaz would have been a serious challenge but in proper shape, no softness in his body he was 155 . Jake’s youth, speed , explosive power, athleticism were on a different level and despite all the deficits Nate hung in there after getting his brain rattled. The guy is just different. He can’t move like he used to but will go through hell till the bell rings are you put him out for good.

In the realm of combat sports, warriors are not just defined by their physical strength and technical skills, but also by their unwavering determination and relentless attitude. Nate Diaz exemplifies these qualities, making him a true icon in the world of combat sports. Nate Diaz is renowned for his never-say-die mentality, which is evident in every single one of his battles. From his early days on The Ultimate Fighter to headlining some of the most memorable fight cards in UFC history, Diaz has consistently demonstrated his warrior spirit. One cannot discuss Nate Diaz without mentioning his fearless nature. He fearlessly steps in and faces any opponents, unafraid of the challenges that lie ahead. In fact, Diaz has never shied away from taking on the best fighters in his division. His grit and determination are unmatched, and he has earned the respect of both fans and fellow fighters alike. What sets Diaz apart as a true warrior is his ability to handle adversity. From being on the brink of defeat to experiencing setbacks in his career, Diaz has shown time and time again that he can weather any storm. He has faced legends and champions, often emerging victorious in spectacular fashion. But Diaz's warrior spirit extends beyond the cage. He is also an advocate for his community, using his platform to promote important causes. Diaz's resilience and dedication to his craft serve as an inspiration to aspiring fighters, proving that a true warrior doesn't just fight in the ring, but also fights for what they believe in. His unwavering determination, fearlessness in the face of adversity, and ability to captivate audiences with his electrifying fighting style make him a true legend. So, let us all salute Nate Diaz, the embodiment of a warrior. May his spirit continue to inspire generations to come, reminding us that true strength lies within the heart and the unwavering spirit to never give up. Thank you Nate for being such an inspiration, grounded, humble and being amongst the best warrior of warriors I've witnessed in my lifetime ♥️🙏

But he's trained for over a decade with the top boxers on the planet. He wasn't surprised by anything, but didn't see a lot. Honestly, Nate just went in to scrap, waited too long to finally scrap. Same crap happened against Masvidal. He waited till halfway through the fight to turn it up. He lost so many MMA fights just cruising through half the fight then turning it up to run out of time. Just imagine if Nate came in prepared to fight with an actual gameplan using all his tools. His mama record would be a lot better. I feel like he's succeeded in getting paid, but honestly Nate is better on paper than his fight record. Also smoke just a little less and focus more. But either way love you Nate.
