India' s old traditional names are Hindustan, Bharatham,Bharat etc. Majority of india is belonged to Hindus religious. But this is the nation including many minority Christian, Muslims, Buddist, Judism and few. So might be that was been the that Ends in minor indicates india is the nation also for minority peoples...
The music was set by the poet. In that the anthem is unique as well, as far as I know. Generally the anthem is followed by three spirited chants of “Bharat mata ki Jai” - victory to mother india - which provide the resolution that the anthem ends begging.
Believe me I have looked. Why isn’t this particular arrangement available for the general public. I hate the versions they play at sports events. If the rules permit can we have a copy of the arrangement posted here or emailed on request. Thanks in any case, even if the response is in the negative
Hard to believe that nobody gives any credit to Irish-Born-Indian Margaret Cousins who gave beautiful music to "Jana Gana Mana".. I bet majority of Indians still dont know that and think that jana gana mana was both written and composed by Rabi Tagore...
Very good thank you all for giving us ,my National Anthem in this way also . I love my country , Proud of my country. After British people,India was taken by Dacoits for 65 years,When Modiji came into power We realised What Indian people wanted, free of corruption, nepotism, selective secularism
There is something about orchestral version it connects heart and soul like some divine experience. Such a beautifully played rendition of soulful anthem. 🇮🇳
I always get goose bumps when hearing our national anthem. The words and the tune is just just fabulous. Proud to be an Indian. When played by symphony orchestra it is like icing on cake. ❤
One of the best renditions, reflecting the essence, the spirit and the soul of this great Nation, and all the good it stands for making it the abode of 1.4 million proud Indians!
Interesting fact : our national anthem is composed by an Irish woman named Margeret Cousins. She along with her husband, John Cousins, came to india in 1915 and in 1919 she composed this anthem ..
My national anthem gets me all teary. 28 states 28 different languages yet we all stand united for our country. We reached the moon and the first to reach near the south pole❤
Our National Anthem, the soul and heart throbe of every Indian should be played or sung in every functions including weddings ❤ The Anthem reminds us of our national pride❤️
Nice rendition of our national anthem. The audience should stand up while it's playing. All the artists are standing while the violinists and some others could have chosen to sit down and play. I appreciate this gesture. But frankly the rendition by our defencemen is far far more superior. You can compare the both- this version and the one played on 26th January or on 15th August in the official functions at Delhi. Btw, India's anthem should be over by 52 seconds while this artistic version takes almost double the prescribed time. You can enjoy it more by playing the video at 1.25x to 2x speed 🎼👍
I honestly hate the 52 second version. It is so much better to be artistic and pleasing. And yeah, I like this one a lot more than the military band performance.
Jana gana Mana is best. If we hear the complete song it is referring to Shri Krishna (Bhagya vidhata) may decide the fate of india . Whereas Bande Mataram is more like a war song not national anthem
