adding to everyone's saying Kinich fit perfectly to Dendro, Nahida herself as the Archon actually very computer based. You should take a look closer to her charged attack, there's literally mouse pointer on it. Nahida basic attacks are basically her pressing on holographic keyboards. Alhaitham is basically all about mirror, his ult is taken from the foundation of Camera (the Camera Obscura) hence why it has all those laser like projections. Kaveh's idle animation and ult are basically application of literal laser for construction.
9:09 About Kinichs design. At first glance it can definitely be seen as ‘out of place’ but after research his whole aesthetic is basically based on indigenous pattern motifs (mainly mayan) being as his style is very geometric and such. I would also like to point out that i didn’t describe his design as ‘pixelated’ as it’s a disrespectful way to describe mayan patterns. Unfortunately a lot of ppl hv been saying that his motifs are very out of place but that’s mainly because some people aren’t quite informed of the indigenous cultures that Kinich is based off of. It’s a rlly unique and gorgeous way to showcase the culture through this design in my opinion. So to summarise Kinichs design is based off of mayan and andean culture!! Hope the helped to inform you!
Thats fair, I think for me its because of the 8-bit graphic style which feels like it fits more with HSR than genshin, I don't hate it, just didn't feel like it fits
@@georgieegames I'd say it's more out of place in Star Rail than Genshin Silver wolf messes with the fabric of reality and rewrites matter, yeah it's something that quantum can do but not something that anyone can do at the same level of ease that she does, like, in Honkai it took a huge amount of work to study the sea of Quanta and understand it Meanwhile in Genshin the elements are their own type of matter and can be manipulated in different ways, in addition to Teyvat having its own rules and laws
@@georgieegames think with me like this if not even the primordial one and the sovereigns were able to control and overcome the abyss, which in certain terms could be compared with the sea of Quanta How would a girl be able to modify matter to simply play video games and steal things? Star rail does a lot of things just because it looks cool, I'm not going to complain but I'm not going to look for a logical explanation either because its cool so yeah keep coming
"Murata" never existed apparently it was a translation error due to the phonetics of the word in Chinese + the name Murata already existing in Honkai the previous pyro archon existed, the tribe "children of Murata" existed but the name "Murata" did not but that doesn't change the fact that Mavuika is an expy of Himeko
@@georgieegames yeah, from what I read, it was possible when translating the manga from chinese to japanese, and then later to english. Murata and Natlan characters were a little ambiguous and the translator assumed it was referencing Murata from Honkai. However there was a pyro Archon before Mavuika, who knows, maybe that previous archon was Murata?
@@Keiki-kun actually, there is a good explanation on reddit of ghe translation ^^ here is the part about why Murata was mistranslated: The last two Chinese characters of "Murata" (穆纳塔) are identical to those used for "Natlan" (纳塔). In other words, with modern Genshin knowledge, "Murata" would more directly translate to "Mu-Natlan", and the "Muratan people" the "Mu-Natlan people". Note how "Natlan" itself never appears in the English translation despite those exact characters (纳塔) appearing in the original text. Given this context, Venti is saying that Vennessa carries herself as a "person of Mu-Natlan", and that "the people of Mu-Natlan" live in the volcanic territories of the west.
Both Dendro and Geo are the "matter" elements of Teyvat, so them being associated with tech is not that surprising. (Technically Hydro as well now that I think of it, but it's somewhere in the middle imo) Also the head cannon reason I have for Natlan not being on fire is that Natlan just redirected all it's fire towards the Abyss to keep itself there.
QoL Updates: - +500 Primogems after completing an Archon Quest in the corresponding patch it was released in - Regional specialties appear on the map as icons - You can get the ascension materials for limited banner characters up to level 60 through test run type quests - You can quick start to the Natlan archon quest if you've completed the Liyue Archon quests and are at AR 28 - Your stamina increases every time you level up ANY statue (before it was just mondstadt and liyue) - Stellar Reunion now gives +10 intertwined fates along with the regular rewards (it's an event which pops up if you haven't played the game for like a month-ish?) - Better drop rates + World Level 9 - Artifacts can now be salvaged for Artifact EXP materials, and using a new resource you can select the stats you want on them Wishing Updates - 50/50 system changed so that if your next 5 star is a 50/50, there'll be more of a chance to get the limited 5 star - Weapon Banner now only needs 1 Fate Point for your next 5 star to be the guaranteed weapon you want
It would be impressive, but these are basic changes that other games have done in less than a year. It took Hoyo almost 5 years to implement basic QoL changes that benefit the player. Thank Wuwa for that.
It's not in game so to be determined but depending on how they do the numbers, what they have told us is basically 1 in 10 lost 50/50s will be won. (given that they said that the consolidated odds for the limited 5 star is going from 50 to 55%).

Even if you have all the standard 5stars, they're going to be adding more 5stars to the standard banner (from what I remember from the livestream, it sounds like more upcoming 5stars will come to standard). So odds are good next year, when we get another 5star standard selector (since it'll be every anniversary from now on), there'll be probably at least 1 new character to choose by then, if not more. Another note, 5.0 is also the 4th anniversary patch, hence the 10-fate login sheet and 1,600 primos coming by game mail. There will also be an upcoming web event where we can obtain 3 out of 5 of the new forgeable weapons. Also hope everyone's able to redeem the primo codes in time. BTW, the en VA for Capitano, also voiced a Danganronpa character in the 2nd game.
Murata was the original Pyro Archon, and as such is dead. Because it was confirmed, a while ago in fact, that only Venti and Zhongli of the original Archon's survived.
Take a look at Capitano's hand when he draws his sword, it looks like his hand has scales, whe know from this cutscene that he is Cryo. What if Capitano is the Cryo Dragon sovereign? 🤔🤯
He's the strongest mortal and human ever known in Teyvat. So I doubt Dragon sovereign would be considered as human. The scales might be just a part of his clothing and gloves
@@lstinside8688 He was never stated to be human, just mortal but another party, plenty of characters like Zhongli or neuvillete disguise their identity as something else, so nothing implies he isn’t a sovereign
Natlan seems like the best yet, continuing this trend I can’t imagine how good Snezhnaya will be. There’s sm lore already just in 5.0 can’t wait to see where it takes us. Love your reactions btw you’re so entertaining ❤
The program was long and in mandarin. But the developers did give some interesting insight in some of the design choices and themes, and some of the background lore involved. But I'm sure we will see that all in game soon.

I think mauvika could be very difficult to read. Like we know captain is strongest being on teyvat. Her fighting against him shows she is the god of war ❤
Do we though? He's assumed to be the strongest Harbinger, its basically stated that. But strongest being of all? I'm not sure it has stated that anywhere.

I get feeling like Kinich doesn’t fit well but Dendro is either nature or tech or a mix of both, Alhaitham and Kinich being tech, Emilie being nature and Nahida being a mix of both like how she takes a picture with her skill or her auto attack is her playing hopscotch on a keyboard lmao
Thats fair you are definitely right, I kind of feel like though the other characters had an item that made the tech stuff happen but visually it wasn't too tech based whereas his is like 8-bit which is cute but just doesn't fit for me (I hope that makes sense lol)

Dendro is more like the element of wisdom than nature, maybe cuz of the current archon. We have people like tighnari and emilie with more plant abilities, then Alhaitham, nahida, kinich and kaveh with more tech, so it kinda seems like human technological advancements like agriculture (tighnari), architecture (Kaveh), light/optics (Alhaitham), digital/holograms (nahida/ kinich). I think the archon plays an important part because dendro outside of humans is more nature/plant-like with the dendro hypostasis, slimes and Apep/warden.
I feel the same about the dendro dude, he looks cool and we know visions do weird things but did they really had to choose pixelated effect in the isolated tribe región lol
@@SyLuX636 WuWa is doing good, but it doesn't reduce Genshin's audience, the audience being reduced naturally as game goes on and that's why they implement so much QoL features and give more rewards than usual. It's a common thing for live-service games, as time goes on the rewards bacome more generous because the devs want to keep the playerbase
