Scenic places - relaxing nature of Upper Michigan and Lake Superior. No music - just singing birds, waterfalls, forest sounds and waves of the lake. Trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Tahquamenon Falls State Park.
Ever since I can remember, I loved going on road trips. In my mid 20s I decided to become a trucker, figured, why not get paid to see the country. I fell in love with it. Been through all lower 48 states and seen many places that not a lot of people get to see in their lifetime. One of my favorite places to drive through was the U,P. Every now and then I’d get sent up to L’anse MI to pick up ceiling tiles and deliver them to the East Coast. I loved the drive through the U,P and coming down I75 through the Nac’ bridge. Beautiful country U,P there.

Watching this video and then reading all the wonderful, comments on it made me confirm what I have always known and felt...that I am TRULY truly blessed to live here..
cmon... again this crap? nature itself did this. Glaciers, ice age, earth rotation, sun and many other factors made these nature masterpieces. not some fictional person in clouds....
@@NostalgicMem0ries well said. People use the beautiful things to "prove" their sectarianism.. or turn around and use evil people and events the next time.
A natural born Yooper here. Come visit look at a wonder of the world (Lake Superior). Leave your big city attitudes where you came from. Bring a good flannel shirt and bug repellent for when the sun sets. 🙂
Just beautiful, I live in lower Michigan, and have been to the u.p. many, many times, (I did live there for a short time) there are so many wonderful sites to see, I'm sure I haven't see them all. Thank you for the wonderful video
man, 10 mins wasnt nearly long enough! Definately longer than the commercials though and I appreciate that! I miss home a lot (summer time of course lol). Thank you very much for uploading this!
Upper Peninsula in warm weather = mosquitoes and biting flies but it's fun for boating. Go in early spring, fall, or winter. Fall is very pretty with the maple trees.
Hi Timothy Genaw, I agree there are a lot of mosquitoes just like in some parts of Florida. We went there in early summer and used a special insect repellent, so my family was totally fine there. I do not know whether it is allowed to go there now, but when it will be allowed go prepared.
I've only gone to the up twice and I've seen just about everything there from the iron mines to pictured rocks. I was really bummed though when I went to lake in the clouds. It's supposed to reflect the clouds when it's sunny and the day I went it was cloudy and miserable. And I couldn't go back the next day because the day after I was going to visit the iron mines.
Serenity Hachey-Carroll Hi Serenity Hachey-Carroll, Thanks for the post. I appreciate it. I'm glad that you liked the video and nature. Yes, I take all the videos for this channel.
