Over the past 30 years I’ve owned 17 different recovery machines I burn through them often because of the number of recoveries and the length of time some of my larger recoveries are takes a toll on your recovery machine. 20+ years ago I lost one recovery machine because I did not use my refrigerator analyzer on a vehicle because I was in a hurry and it had a hydrocarbon refrigerant inside of it and there was a loud boom explosion inside my machine and the crank and piston came out the bottom inside. After that I’ve had a vendetta a personal chip on my shoulder to eliminate any and all shops that do not have a refrigerant analyzer and intentionally on purpose put in contaminated refrigerant into customers cars and ignorance is not a excuse. Majority of shop owners fall under one of three common categories cheap,lazy, or ignorant or a combination of any of the three. In that case they need to be eliminated excommunicated executed castrated and kicked out of the Automotive trade. There is no reason to vent refrigerant to the atmosphere or contaminate Refrigerant and then stick it into other customers equipment including shops that for oil down the drain or paint or drive their car over to the corner of their parking lot where they have a water drain and let out the coolant these type of shops need to be eliminated the owners could be handed a application to a burger flipping joint a janitorial Job or a garbage pick up company. But never allowed near a automobile for the rest of their life.
