there was loads of chances to explain or re-explain how we measure distance with our dividers. this video should be removed imo. not a good example of anything other than how to frighten people off going to see.

Firstly, you should have stuck to your plan and not allowed the students to pull you off . Once you had made a simple first example, then you could have introduced their questions.
