Voting does work. The issue is a two faced dragon though... We have let the voting system get horrendously corrupted, we have hackable voting machines, corrupt voter ballot counters, and fraudulent voter roles. That's one dragon head mess we have to clean up... The second dragon head is our elected officials, you have two styles of Representatives, 1. Delegate, 2. Trustee. A Delegate tallies up the votes of their constituents and however the people voted a Delegate styled Representative will then vote the will of the people. A trustee can have 100% of all the people in their district vote one way and the trustee will say "I know that's what you want, but I know what's best" and vote the opposite. 80%+ of all our elected officials are a Trustee styled Representative. It wouldn't be hard to clean that up if Americans knew the problems and would be proactive to fix it. Once fixed, voting is a beautiful thing, simple, safe, and easy.
Article 2, Section 1 of the US Constitution - You don't vote for President. Only state representatives do. We are given the illusion of choice in order to support the notion that we are a "Democracy" (majority rule) when in fact we are a Constitutional Republic.
We are either a nation of laws, or we are a nation of men. The law must be upheld and applied impartially, a.k.a. "justice must be blind," or otherwise we're just another banana republic in which the "law" is whatever the wealthy and powerful say it is. The present regime has made a mockery of the notion of the rule of law and turned us into both a banana republic and a laughing stock for the world. The Founders must be turning in their graves...

Why does no one mention JB signed the UN Agreement for Safe and Orderly Migration? It's easily found on the UN site. Migrant Compact signed by Mexico, USA and Canada. Trump refused to sign because it goes against our migration policies. JB signed when he came in January. Address this please Shawn.
@2spotmooses - Yes, you are quite correct. I seldom agree with Congressman Dennis Kucinich of California, about much of anything, but he was completely correct when he said years ago that unless you are prepared to write a check for at least ten grand - ten-thousand dollars - to your Senator or Congressman's campaign fund, you and your problem do not exist. That figure is probably more like fifty k today, but the principle still applies. Our system is effectively pay to play. Since only the richest corporations, banks, non-profits and private individuals have the money necessary to influence the political process, they in effect run things.... they run the country. That conclusion was supported by a study done a few years ago by a panel of political scientists and historians at Princeton, if memory serves. Their goal was to discover who really ran America. They deliberated and came back with the conclusion that we are an oligarchy. Oligarchy means rule of the few or by the few. If Prince is indeed a billionaire as you say, then he already is an insider with access to the political system and decision-making machinery. In other words, he isn't on the outside looking in.
These guys act like they don't know the elephant in the room. These Democrats and Rino's are just serving their masters. They have to know who they are. Just say the names. Have a backbone
That's the frustrating part. They keep talking in generalities. When the cameras are off, they have a good idea about who is really responsible, and it isn't just "the commies". If these guys won't speak truthfully about our predicament, what hope is there?

There were 74 million votes cast for Trump in 2020, ole Joe got 81 million votes. There are 135 million voters in this country. People are currently burning churches around the world. Soon we will see these people telling the people they are no longer allowed to go to church, like they have done in other countries. God would not want us to sit back and wait on him, that's why he provided the means to take care of ourselves.

I'm on my way out of the government and you are spot on. The weaponizing started around 2010 when all government agencies were converted into a wing of the Democrat party. Never has been. The people that came up with it I believe were good for what they are. Politicians. But we fought a war because of taxes or at least a big part of it. True it has been worse for our country in our history, but we had a society at those times that would stand up for what is right. I’m not sure we have that society now.
Our revolution was successful because Americans were devout Christians. As a largely religious and moral people we had the foundation to put our country back together after the Revolution.

We just don't have the numbers right now, brother. The guns Americans own are mostly for personal protection and sport. I kind of like what Eric says about participation in civic governing groups. That's exactly what the Dems have been doing ever since the Vietnam war days. So here's a bit of history: Before the key leadership of the Weatherman terrorist group (aka Obama's friends, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn and a few others) "went underground" in the 1970s, they told the remaining followers to get qual'd up (university education) and basically INFILTRATE the schools, universities, civil service and elected offices-- both local and national-- by getting those kind of jobs. And-- most important of all-- news and media. They called this strategy "the long march through the institutions". Purpose: to accomplish their revolution by occupying positions of influence. THAT'S WHY things seem so lopsided, and why the woke radicals seem to outnumber us. But we ourselves have been lax and allowed it to happen. We just assumed those in charge were acting as public servants, accountable to their fellow citizens' and with America's best interests at heart. But it's so boring to run for school board, right? Yet that's how the organized left got to where they are today.
Voting is kind of exhausting itself...... till the point where people are losing their patience. Especially when there needs or ideas are not being heard.
Nayib Bukele is a real leader. He knows what it takes to fix massive corruption and crime, and he did exactly that, in short order. Our politicians talk and talk and talk, while financially raping the average citizen. Even Trump is mostly talk. We need men of action who will follow through. I'm not sure there are any left in the U.S.

One part to try is to make it a felony to be here illegally with a mandatory 20 year sentence and the when the sentence is complete deportation. Also put them on a permanant ban list.
I disagree with the voting early, mail in ballots are the easiest to manipulate. Vote the day of the election and in person only, if they say you already voted raise holy hell..

That's all I've ever known is to work in the factory, before and after being in the Army. Worked as a welder fabricator, to assembling aircraft, atms, and firearms, those are my skills, and when I was in the Army, my MOS was 11B/M, so there's that. Jack of all trades master of none!
It’s very hard for businesses to compete with the state. Free education, free cash, free food or work for a living. I list an employee because the state paid for him to go to college. I offer full time and he couldn’t give up the freebies so he quit.

If you voted in 2020 you would now be registered correct ? Well there are only about 165 million registered voters right now according to several online sources. I actually went state by state and added them up myself and that number is pretty accurate. I mention this because the registered voter count was 168 million in 2020. Democrats try to say that number was wrong and some sham government investigation estimates more registered voters . Conveniently just enough to force the numbers to match 😆. It’s all bullshit. Every left wing website and census and statistical website and state official numbers all say 168 million registered voters in 2020 to this day and say about 165 million registered voters today. Because THATS THE RIGHT NUMBERS. So in 2020 by all accounts except some bullshit after the fact government CYA numbers that don’t hold water today , there were 169 million registered voters…I rounded up. 158 million votes. Average turnout was 66%. Over 60% of states had below 73% turnout. There were a handful of them in the 80’s. How do you get 93% of all registered voters voting if the average turnout was 66% and no state was above 86% ?

Since the U.S. is based upon Britain in many respects, our law comes in part from British common law, as well as other sources. A British subject of the crown only "owns" his land at the sufferance and permission of the regent, the king or queen. That got changed to the government when the fledgling U.S. was formed. In these examples holding the title to land or property is conditional upon meeting certain conditions or requirements. A homeowner who finishes paying off his home mortgage may believe that he "owns" his home, free and clear, but he doesn't - not really. Why? Because his keeping his property is conditional upon paying his property taxes and other taxes and fees. If he fails to pay the IRS his taxes, his home and property can be seized to pay off his "debt" to the government. Allodial title is a title under which ownership is free-and-clear and not dependent upon some superior overlord or conditions. What the U.S. has today is "fee simple" - which is another system. Americans today put up with far-greater infringements of their liberties than our colonial forbearers ever did, and see a much greater proportion of their wealth confiscated by the government than in the 1770s.
The American conservative mantra of "keeping ones head down, mind your own business, and leave me alone and I'll leave you alone" is why we are here. You may not want to get involved, but there are a lot of people who are more than happy to get involved and dictate your life to you. Its nice in theory and worked better 100 years ago, but these days we have to get involved at all levels of society and government.
