Navy Seals extraction

This is rare footage of a Navy SEALs helicopter extraction was filmed from inside an MH-47 Chinook helicopter. The pilot has lowered the ramp, dipped the tail end into the water to partially flood the compartment .
A maneuver that requires quite precise flying and awaits the Navy SEALs to board in
It's easy to lose lift and ditch the chopper.

To all the people who don't know the title is misleading. The actual specail forces unit is SBS specail forces of the British military not SEALS basically the British version of U.S SEALS since they are also primarily a water based specail forces unit but like the SEALS they can also fight on any terrain land or sea. Pretty misleading to misinform people.

It’s been a long time, but I crewed Hooks back in the day. Besides a thorough washing of the whole aircraft, we had to pull the wheels and repack the bearings, pull the floor boards and treat for corrosion (aluminum is bad enough, but we also had magnesium hard points that would corrode if you even looked at them wrong), engines had to be flushed. If it was salt water, we had to get it done within 24 hours. Freshwater, we had up to 72 hours. It was a real pain in the a$$.
