If you have gps and a compass and you get a solid satellite lock when you arm you can use the RTH function on the Naze. I suggest you view painless360 series on the Naze32 for more information.
+Marty Rome I actually watched all painless360 videos about Naze32 and I got GPS installed and working fine. But I meant that I want to use following configuration. When armed with sprigged throttle stick to center or 50% of throttle motors should start spinning at minimum speed. Default mode is always set to baro. So if I increase throttle it should lift up and stays at some altitude if i release throttle stick and it return to center position.
hey I have built a tricopter on a naze 32 rev 6 but I can't seem to go into servo mode although I have changed the configuration to tricopter but the servo doesn't work. if I plug the servo and motors as you instructed then the servo mixes with throttle and only motor 1 works , what did I do wrong? how do I get into servo mode?
Rashad Reyaz check and make sure your receiver is properly set up and the transmitter is controlling the channels correctly. Also, recheck your wiring.
Marty Rome okay I have checked the connections and the receiver , both are working fine. but one thing that I have found is that the naze is in regular mode. On various RU-vid tutorials of tricopter the naze is on servo mode and I just can't find any option anywhere to switch to servo mode in order to get the yaw mechanism working.
Rashad Reyaz the Tricopter mode comes from selecting Tricopter in cleanflight. The only thing I can suggest is that your channel mapping is incorrect for your receiver and transmitter. When in Tricopter mode, the naze sees connection 1 as the servo and the motors are on 3,4, & 5.
