I agree that the hop step triggers dunks but if you lay off of turbo it's not an issue. Hop step is one of the most useful layups although it and spin might require a separate video when you consider all the moves you can branch out of both like up and under type moves. I love hop stepping and fading out of it. Also when you spin out of the post at certain angles you can do some really cool hook type floaters that are really useful. I never see much on this despite it being present in the past few 2k releases back to 2K15
Lol I'm so late. All I've been doing was holding turbo, not holding turbo, and double tapping square. I had no idea, out side of euro stepping and spinning, I controlled the lay up. Nice vid Edit: the strength of the euro is why I always did it. I thought the other layups were only triggered if you had a specific badge
@@SamPhamNBA2KTipsandTutorial I got you with the weight of the pass etc....little things that the avg 2k player don't think about and why there passes be giving their teammates catch animation etc....
@@SamPhamNBA2KTipsandTutorial you actually trigger the hop step dunk...I couldn't get that for the life of me. Keep doing your lab thing, thier the best tutorials to touch RU-vid 🤘🏾
I use camera nosebleed and all angles on my brain flipout. any advice onna specific buttons doin all of this one specially momentum comboes. btw I dont use absolute. I am used to camera relative. cheers! awsome vid. Iearnt almost the fundamentals of offense in 2k20 just by watching this vid
@@SamPhamNBA2KTipsandTutorial have you labbed the eurodunks? just smash RT right after the first step is triggered in the euro animation while still holding both sticks.
Hey Sam, love your videos! They've helped me so much. Quick question, I want to find a way to incorporate the floater despite everyone telling me its shit. Do you have advice on a badge combos that will work well with Teardropper? Also, is there a specific layup package that has a fast floater animation? Thanks!
I can't find any acrobat badge videos. Is it like 2k19 where u have to go to the rim via dunk or layup n then change it in midair or is it passive like overall helping make difficult layups
@@SamPhamNBA2KTipsandTutorial im sure you'll figure out which pocket it would be good to use it on though you are right and i like the word you use to describe it. Its really not practical lol.
Pham that means #FancyFootwork badge might need to be at least a silver for the sharpie built because 2k19 my sharpie would miss sooo many euro's but my shot creator/ Sharpie was amazing
